So escapist what is the last game you played that didn?t have any combat in it ?

Mine is Syberia . I haven?t finished it yet so who knows I might still have to fight a giant robot by the end but so far it?s been some of the most fun I had with a game this year.

Combat != killing people

Plenty of combat in Psychonauts, for example, but no killing people (although you can set squirrels on fire!)

Anyway, the answer for me would be Dr. Mario because I play that all the time. Got to love classic puzzle games. The other half is mad for Tetris.

Yes, yes they are. Bit.Trip runner made this humble indie bundle my favorite.
Now, does killing yourself repeatedly count as killing, because if it doesn't, I propose Super Meat Boy as the last game I played that didn't involve killing. *swears as he dies for the hundredth time, then laughs manically at the replay*

Perhaps indie games don't focus so much on killing.. Oh wait Shank...

The last game that didn't involve fighting people was Gemcraft: Labyrinth.

The last one with no combat whatsoever? Animal Crossing.

This is pretty easy for me. I play lots of racing games, so NFS Most Wanted. Went back on my PS2 LCE version of the game to check something. That game looks so crap and grainy compared to the 360 version. Played Forza the other day too. I've more or less got a hard on for that series. And although the OP says "games without combat" I have played plenty of games recently that involve combat, but not against people. Come to think of it I think that only a small fraction of my games actually involve combat against people. Most of it is monsters, demons or aliens etc.
