The part of this premise that gets me is how if this John Wick guy is that good, they were able to beat him up to begin with. Reading the set up alone (not having seen the movie) when this guy say clears out an entire room of professional enforcers from the local syndicate or whatever, it seems to me I'd be wondering why he didn't do that to begin with.Venatio said:I thought it was a good plot. Theon Greyjoy comes in and beats me up, takes my car and kills my dog. My dog! It's on now Reek, it's on!
This sounds good though, I might even see it before the end of the year.
Typo? I think that "gangsters who decided they wanted his car... so they broke into his house, beat him up, stole his car, and killed his new puppy." better falls within the category of "antagonists", but I can't be too sure...Though we get the feeling Wick could have lived with the other insults, losing the dog -- a final gift from his wife -- was just too much. That's an unfortunate thing for the gangsters who make up our cast of protagonists, because John Wick is a retired super-assassin who's about to come out of retirement.
So... the gangsters are the main characters of the movie? That's an unfortunate thing for the gangsters who make up our cast of protagonists
