I mean, if he's a hallucination, then he's disregarding Erin's mental health for his own selfish ends. But if he's a hallucination, how is he able to go flushing physical objects down the toilet while Erin sleeps? My guess is this is Erin flushing the pills herself, the 'Rad' part of her brain not wanting to go away just yet, if ever. Or maybe she's just crazy enough to be telekinetically moving shit around while she sleeps. Then again, didn't Link physically punch someone over in the other comic, ages ago? Who's really crazy here?
Hmm....I'm guessing the reason for flushing the pills is that if she takes them she won't see Rad or the others anymore, and thus Rad couldn't try to help her anymore either.
Still, taking someone off their meds won't likely be without consequences. Hope Erin will be okay.

Wait, if Rad is a figment of imagination, would the pills still be there and unflushed or is this all Erin doing while still be unconscious?

I'm going with what a number of people said in the previous comic: this is some Fight Club Tyler Durden stuff going on. It is indeed Erin flushing her own pills and what-not. As someone pointed out, the person who dropped the pills of said "Your voice sounds weird" as though he were speaking to Erin and she was clearly using a funny voice, as opposed to "Wait, who's in there?!" which would be a more appropriate reaction to hearing a voice you've never heard before coming from the apartment of someone you care about who's been shut-in and isolated for 2 years.
In short: she's dreaming that she's asleep while physically acting as Rad in this situation. Crazy people that are off their anti-crazy pills tend to do crazy things...and often actively try to keep themselves from taking said anti-crazy pills again. What a shock.

One day I hope we see a version of this comic where we see everything that's happening 'for real'. That is to say, rather than seeing everything how Erin sees it, we instead see a crazy Erin acting out the roles herself.
