Wow...working on one single game for 20 years...that's hardcore, no matter how you put it. And 280 hours of gameplay in 2 Megabytes? That's pretty incredible. Can't wait to see the final product.

I admire their dedication... I'm not interested in it though. Gameplay has evolved as much as graphics have in my opinion, and "retro" games don't normally compare anymore.

LIEZ, Commodores never fall, they dive WITH GLORY!

If this is even half as good as Wasteland, it's getting installed to my phone and you won't see me for a month.

It just needs music by Rob Hubbard and graphics by Jeff Minter to become unholy awesome.

Considering I just spent 2 hours on my first game of alpha centauri, old school games are no problem. I may just check this out

Sure it's got 280 hours of gameplay, but are they quality hours? Considering that it took 20 years to develop, I believe they will be. I am definitely going to be watching this develop. Also, isn't it a little too appropriate that it's named "Newcomer?" That couldn't have been the original name as they so claim.

That is, ultimately, a subjective question. One man's trash, another man's treasure, and all that.

Don't nobody talk shit about the C64; it was only a computer in the most technical sense, but it was a fucking brilliant game system.
But weren't systems like the ZX Spectrum, Oric-1, C64, Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, etc. the first home computers?

I'm definitely buying this game at release.

The design looks good for a game that has been in development for so long, and I hope it provides a ton of choices if what the developers are saying is true.

Aww, that is so fucking cool. Kinda gives me hope for the epic theme album I've been working on for.. 6 or 7 years now?

I wish my mom still had our old C64. It'd be cool to find a way to play it "for realz".
