Back when I still played console games, I could be pretty reliably counted upon to throw a perfect game at least once a (162-game) season even on the hardest modes. Rare, but not impossible.

I wonder if this is 2K Sports' way of saying "Our MLB games suck, the computer is a cheating bastard, the fielding pathfinding AI would seem to suggest an obstacle course in the outfield, it figures the one series we got the exclusive away from EA on would be the one sport we never do well, but here's a million-dollar challenge. Buy our game? Pretty please?"

Well true, i was going to put a disclaimer for non-us personnel...but i got lazy

Then again im into most sports so i know the rules of football..yes your football and rugby. Heres the scary part, i know the rules of cricket, beat that!
I'm afraid you probably know more about cricket than I do. I find it dull as hell.

Football I can do however.

I guess I'm just a cynical old bastard but I'm thinking there is a bit of code in there that goes like this...

Code:
if game = almost perfect{
set batter to BabeRuthMode
}
and hang on... this is for online gaming right? err "I'll split the prize money with you if you just stand there and let me get you out"
doubt its that, because some hacker will find its impossible to win and sue the company. Though they can make it practically impossible. like random number generater thats programmed to give a 'fluke' hit 10% of the time. Over a full game that puts odds at something like 1 in 100,000,000.
