3 Clicks to Hitler

A friend of mine told me about this a while ago and I just tried it. The idea is that you can get from any page on wikipedia to the 'Adolf Hitler' page in only 3 clicks (links in the article only, no dates, search bars, ect.). 3 may be too little in some cases, but it is possible.

Click the 'random page' link and from there, click links in the article to try and get to hitler.
My first try was:
'Terence McNaughton' (random) -> 'Republic of Ireland' -> 'Europe' -> 'Adolf hitler'
(the -> represent clicks)

Try it if you want. Another challenge like this is to set a 'target page' and a 'starting page' as well a limit. Starting at the starting page (obviously), get to the target page in less than (or equal to) the limit.

Here's a few if you want to try (make up your own limit, or just see how many it takes):
'Lectern' to 'Barbeque'
'Vodka' to 'Benito Mussolini'
'Mortar (Weapon)' to 'Light Bulb' (even I can't do this in less than 10)
'Pope Alexander II' to 'James Bond'

Use your imagination and post if you can/cant or just think of more hard ones

EDIT: (originally posted below) See if you can try and avoid using the WWII page when searching for Hitler. It makes it more difficult.

I once played a game like this with my friends. One insisted I get from "neoteny" to "gummi bears" in under 5 clicks. I did it.

UPDATE: I just tried it with a random article. It went like this:

Vyacheslav Chadov --> Russia --> Nazi Party --> Adolf Hitler.

UPDATE 2: I managed to do the Mortar (Weapon) to Lightbulb in 5 clicks:

Mortar (Weapon) --> Shell (Projectile) --> Armour-piercing Discarding Sabot --> Tungsten Carbide --> Tungsten --> Incandescent Light Bulb

Pretty fun, I must say.

Though sometimes pretty hard. The first time I tried, I got "Arterial tortuosity syndrome". I managed to get to Hitler in 4 clicks.

The second time was easy though - "List of Grand Prix motorcycle racers: B" -> "Germany" -> "Adolf Hitler". Only 2 clicks.

That's pretty easy actually and I can see how you could get to Hitler from most, if not all, articles.

Easy peasy:
Mortar (weapon) -> Cordite -> Nobel -> Inventor -> Edisonian approach -> Incandescent light bulb

That's five simple steps.

extremly fun. its called the wikihitler game. you have to do it in under 6 clicks and it's supposed to represent the 6 degrees of seperation that everyone on earth has from each other. for example. I --> America --> World War 2 --> Axis ---> Hitler.....see very fun to play with friends lol

EDIT: Oh! I just thought of a way to make it harder. Try and do it WITHOUT using the WWII page!
then again, that might make it impossible in 3 or less...
EDIT 2: I mean try and do the hitler challenge without WWII...

The Hitler one is rather easy to do, because you only need the name of a country and you are through. For example. Random page I got Cassowary.

Cassowary-->Australia-->World War II-->Adolf Hitler.

Try again.

Random page I got Woolley Hall.

Woolley Hall-->England->World War II-->Adolf Hitler.

You get the idea.
