Inception
Inglorious Basterds
Pan's Labyrinth

So many others as well but these are the three I'd choose.

FMJ was okay after basic, it got on my nerves because it was so disjointed. honestly, the only thing i thought made it worth watching was R. Lee Ermey. after his bit, i'll just hit eject.

Escapist, I disagree.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
The Fall (in hd on a big tv, to get the full effect of the beauty of this film)
The Lion King

I guess I see epicness in, well, epics. I love big feeling epic films.

Also Collateral, Watchmen, The Matrix, A Clockwork Orange, Dr Strangelove, The Shawshank Redemption, Donnie Darko, every Pixar film (possibly barring Cars), The Lord Of The Rings films, The Shining, Psycho... this list is really quite long.

Let me split it up into 2 categories?
Fiction:
Donnie Darko
Resevoir Dogs
Kick Ass
Non-Fiction:
Religulous

The Cove

Fifth Element
Fight Club

With a sci-fi film, a manly man's mind-fuck, and an unnaturally emotional animated movie, I believe I covered the three best bases.

Edit: I need to fit Hurt Locker in there somewhere, but I'm not sure how....

Sophisticated taste in movies you got there.

My three would be
Pulp Fiction
Goodfellas
District 9

And yes, all three have been said at some point previously in this thread, but whatever.
They're great movies.

The Blues Brothers - A fine blend of comedy, car chases and good music!

American History X - Furlong and Norton work so well together in this film

Sexy Beast - one line from Ben Kingsly's character says it all; 'alright Gal? I gotta change my shirt, I'm sweating like a ****'

I must have watched each of these a dozen times and I urge you do so as well!
Hot damn I forgot about American History X. That is one amazing movie.

Inception
Spirited Away
Up In The Air

The last two changed the way I looked at life, and the first one..well. It just blew my mind.
