Brütal Legend Track Pack Coming to Rock Band

To celebrate the upcoming release of Rock Band Music Store [http://www.brutallegend.com/] next week.

The three-pack of solid steel, razor-edged rock will include "(We Are) The Road Crew '08" by Motörhead, "The Metal" by Tenacious D and "More Than Meets the Eye" by Testament, all taken from the mighty metal Brütal Legend soundtrack. Making it even more rocktastic, beginning October 13 and running for a limited time (whatever that means) gamers who purchase Brütal Legend will receive a coupon for a free copy of the Brütal Legend Pack.

"These are three great songs that totally capture the feeling of Brütal Legend. I can't wait to play them in Rock Band," said Double Fine Productions [http://www.doublefine.com/] founder Tim Schafer. "I've air-drummed to all of them so many times, I'm sure I'll be able to beat them on hard mode, no problem. Or at least on medium. Like medium plus. That's a setting, right?"

Other tracks coming to Rock Band next week include "Show Me the Way" from Black Tide, "What's My Age Again?" by Blink 182, "Satch Boogie" and "Surfing With the Alien" by Joe Satriani, live versions of "Icarus (Borne on the Wings of Steel)" and "Points of Know Return" from Kansas and "Andres" from L7.

The Brütal Legend Track Pack will be available on October 13 for the Xbox 360 and Wii, and October 15 for the PlayStation 3.

The only kind of crappy thing is that I already have "The Metal" on Guitar Hero III... well, actually, that didn't have drums and singing, so that actually is an improvement I guess.

i think family guy put it best when they took their shot at Jack Black. He acts like he is sooo cool and edgy because he "relates" to the young crowd. But when you try too hard to act cool you suddenly become uncool. Brutal legend is trying to hard to be Brooootal and that makes me laugh at the game in general and make me want to pass on it, which i will.

See, this is why I stick with Rock Band...they get the songs Guitar Hero gets, and I don't have to buy the whole disc. But only a few songs I'll get.

The characters not even based on Jack black, just voiced by him.

Jesus himself could have done the voice acting for Two Worlds but that wouldn't stop the game from sucking
