Carnage Unleashed on Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2

Venom not scratching that symbiote itch? Why not try Carnage on for size?

Marvel Comics has a huge stable of characters, some of them better [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stilt-Man] than [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squirrel_girl] others [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jubilee_(comics)] admittedly, but it means that when a game like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 gets made, some people are inevitably left out.

That's where DLC steps in, bringing you all the heroes - and villains - that didn't quite make the grade first time round. The first DLC for the game is undoubtedly a villainous one however, as it adds the utterly psychopathic Carnage to the game.

"Just to be as mean, savage, and up-close-and-personal as possible. All his attacks are really nasty. Carnage is out to hurt people, and he doesn't care about collateral damage along the way.
We carried this mentality throughout all aspects of his design ... We really wanted to play up the idea of a killing machine that simply did not stop," said Justin Heisler, one of the game's designers.

You can read the whole developer's blog here [http://marvelultimatealliance.marvel.com/en/news_comments/maximum_carnage_bringing_cletus_kasady_to_marvel/]

I've always wanted Carnage to have his own game. Though, I suppose that's kinda already happened:

That's the most epic carnage character model I've ever seen.

Then again, the last one I saw was in Spiderman: the Official Game back in 2000.

Still.

To be fair, it's not easy. They have alot of characters already, and you can't expect them to put all of them in at once, otherwise the game would take ages to come out.

I really wished this game was really good. Maybe I'll buy the edition with all the DLC build in at $20 several years down the road.

Characters that are better than Squirrel girl? I think not, I mean she can beat up Thanos after all.

It's the same with Beatles Rock Band [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/941-Beatles-Rock-Band-and-Guitar-Hero-5]. Sure you get a decent list of Beatles songs, but almost all classic Beatles songs are mussing. You'll be able to download all the good ones later.

I was already dissapointed to see half of the awesome characters I fought weren't playable. Cable :(

Oh and is that a free dlc? Too lazy to switch on my x360

Ah, the plight of a comic book fan. Do I buy this game now and complain when all the characters I love are DLC only (not going to happen - Deadpoooooooool!)? Or shall I wait and salivate?

...Eh, birthday's coming up. This'll be on the 'please, mommy! ;_;' list.

CARNAGE!!!!!!!!!

OT: I'm going to get this game. I've always wanted a non-pixelated carnage in a game.
