Hello, I'm not usually one to make a thread but I need help.
Well I have a problem with the 'A' button on my controller, everytime I press it it will stick and take a while to rise up. I thought that I could just use a srewdriver to open the controller up and scrape out whatever is making it stick out of there, as it turns out I need a super special screwdriver...
So I ask you, what could I try to get the 'A' button to stop sticking?

Well I had this problem with different controllers, and I never worked out how to sort it out.

Also, you just need a certain size screwdriver, not a special one.

just get the right sized screwdriver, you could probably pick up a small electronics screwdriver kit for ~$10.

Open, (carefully), and clean the surface of the pcb at the button contacts, using alcohols, methylated spirits or something similar (IsoPropyl Alcohol is the best to use to clean electronics), and a non-metallic sponge/brush/cloth.

Clean the casing surrounding the buttons and check for damage/wear on the button itself.
