Okay so I got a 360 a few months ago and was real excited. I already had a PS3 since launch and wanted to try out some of the 360 exclusives I had never played. Now here is what I went through:

Fable 2 (Bad)
Halo 3, ODST, and Reach Beta (Bad, Okay, And Good for now)
Gears of War 1 & 2 (Both Bad)
Left4Dead 1 & 2 (Great and Great)
Alan Wake (Haven't played yet but am planning to)
EDIT: Mass Effect 2 ("AWESOME")

I feel like I missed something but thats okay. Now these I knew were the games only for 360 that I hadn't played but none of them were "AMAZING". I feel like I have missed some awesome game or something in the mix. I have played all the multiplatforms and PS3 games already and I want to get some good Xbox only material to play. I really want a game like God of War 3 is. That kind of "Holy cow! I'm the size of a pimple on a giant monster fighting of zombie hoards and giant water horses going to kill the gods of Olympus with my bare hands RAWR" kind of games. Or maybe some cool shooters like Killzone 2 or Resistance 2.

So please, any recommendations for GREAT GAMES EXCLUSIVELY ON THE 360 and NOT ON LIST ABOVE.

EDIT: Okay so the only great games I have played on the 360 are Left4Dead. I haven't found any yet that made me go "HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME" yet. Games that have made me say that are:

God of War 3
Fallout 3
Killzone 2
Resistance 2
Uncharted 2
MAG
Shadow of the Colossus
Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 (Yes, these games are "AWESOME")
EDIT: Mass Effect 2

EDIT2: Okay my mistake I have played ME2, which WAS "AWESOME", but that can't be it... Although looking at my list, maybe I just like games that have 2s or 3s in them....

An example of one of your previously stated "AMAZING" games would be able to steer people to a better idea of what to suggest.

Dead Rising's pretty "amazing" (Xbox had it first and they were "Re-releasing" games left, right and centre back then to cater for the Wiis suffering line-up so in my eyes it's an exclusive) by your description even if it has a high difficulty.

First of all go out, find crackdown and play it.

Next start having an open mind, I mean Fable 2 and both Gears were bad AND Halo were all bad? Geez man... I don't even know all that many 360 exclusives, Metro 2033 or whatever it was, was a good game.

Dead Space (Multi console I know but you if you haven't played it you absolutely have to), Condemned 1 & 2 (Think Silent Hill meets Fight Club Meets CSI), Shadow Complex (Best arcade game hands down)

Okay Ill try Crackdown. I have heard that was good and it looked to be fun. The sequel looks sweet too.

Although I don't get how not liking Fable, Halo, or Gears makes me not so open minded. Here is what I thought about them that made me not like them:

Halo 3:
---Non existent story (I know the whole Halo story but Halo 3 has no plot depth)
---Uninteresting Lead character
---Few useful guns compared to all the useless funs

Gears 1 and 2
---Bad graphics (No difference from 1 to 2 either)
---Chainsaw kill is lame after you do it in the 2 only different ways (Front and back of enemy)
---No good plot
---Horrible characters. Worst I have seen in a game. No. Joke.

Fable 2:
---I'm totally having fun! Wait... I haven't fought anything in 5 hours. There are two enemies for every 3 hours of logging and crap. I had had two fights but owned three lodges, had a wife, was a great wood cutter and sword smith but nothing else. Then I realized it was a MMORPG, which I avoid because they are crack. But I had already started playing so I couldn't stop. I realize now that my 360 saved me that day when it just scratches a giant ring in the disc rendering it unplayable... thank you 360...

Castle Crashers, Assassins Creed 1&2
Played them both on my PS3. They were okay but I never thought they were great. Played part way through castle crashers. I'm not good at that game though, I can never line up my guy right.

I need to go buy dead rising again. I got rented it once and just got pissed after me and my five allies with few weapons (One of which I was carrying to safety on my back) were murdered by some escaped convicts on a 4x4 with a .50 turret. I was a little annoyed after that. I heard that you are not supposed to care about dying in that game though so I should try it again now I guess. The sequel does look good.

Never liked Dead Space. Don't like Silent Hill. Don't like survival horrors. Not because they are scary, I actually just get pissed off. I end up getting annoyed at the whole "Well of course I'm dead, I didn't bring a gun with more than 3 bullets to the zombie parade." Dead Space especially because of the whole "This is supposed to cut through ROCK? It takes five shots to get through that things SHINS!"

Sorry I am kind of hard to do this for because I have played MANY games. I mean a lot of them.

Alright fair enough I only really enjoyed online play with those games anyway. As for Fable 2 not fighting anything for 2 hours? The only problem I ever had with that game was that the enemies were too easy.

Anyway I'm just gonna name as many games as I can so you can take a peek and see what you like.

Orange Box

Call of Duty (I enjoyed more for online play)

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion

Splinter Cell

Lost Planet

Prince of Persia

Dark Messiah

Brutal Legend

Not the biggest fan of fighters.

I like action games, Shooters, racing games, and some platformers. I alos like games that are just interesting no matter how they play (i.e. Portal, Heavy Rain, LBP, ModNation, etc.)

Brutal Legend was kind of awesome. Okay the gameplay made me pull my own hair out but it was just funny!
TF2 on the xbox 360 does suck. Still awesome on pc.

TF2 was bad?

Well in any case at least make sure you play the newest PoP, the Forgotten Sands.

Yeah but it doesn't sound "AWESOME". I want a game that by itself makes me feel like owning my 360 means something. Mass Effect 2 is good but is that all. It's just that I look at my PS3 and go "Well good thing I had that or I would not be able to play Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, God of War 3, MAG, Uncharted, or Killzone 3, and that would just be unfortunate."

Right now my 360 is like "Well... I have that. And I can play Cod:MW2 or Halo 3 on it with my friends... and I don't generally adore either but many of my friends who only have a Xbox do." or really "Good thing I have a Xbox or I couldn't play with my other friends who only have Xboxes..." I just want a better reason to own it than that.

Get Netflix or something. Rent games see what you like buy what you love. I've gone to my local blockbuster so many times that they've started giving me games for free.
