360 hard drive question

My hard drive is almost full, and I'm installing Mass Effect for a final playthrough before the sequel.

What I want to know is, will the game run better if I delete some of the other ones from my hard drive?

Will it run faster/more smoothly with more space?

My technical knowledge is not the best, so sorry if it sounds like a stupid question to any tech heads.

I don't think it will run better, but you might need that space for saves and stuff.

Yep, big game. 6.8gb, in fact. I would imagine some serious space clearing will be needed for the double disc sequel...
