3DS details + mock up

an image from a Chinese blogger who says he has himself a 3ds dev kit and a moc up by kotaku

the top screen is apparently where the magic 3d is and the bottom screen similar models of the ds

also it reportedly has an analog stick (im guessing that thing below the dpad) and may have a tilt sensor or accelerometer or somthing similar

I won my DSi through a competition at work. I felt pretty bad ass that I finally had a modern hand held console. I weep thinking that this new one is coming

Okay, so it's a self confessed fake, but based on best guess, fair enough.

Interesting that Nintendo are outsourcing more of their research and development than ever before. I suppose buying in other people's tech or working with them to adapt it is much more cost effective than ground up development.

It will be interesting to see how much horse power it has, seeing as the Wii has a cooling fan, if this has as much power they will have to be careful with the heat build up. Also, I'm digging the screen, here's hoping they up the resolution massively for it over the DS Lite/iterations of.

3DS looks more like the true 'DS2' by the minute.

yeh atm it sounds pretty cool if i get depends on the price i guess. i also don't want too much gimmicky crap like the wii....... im guessing a cheap price and no gimicks on a 3d handheld with motion controls is too much to ask for ^^

nooo my first time getting ninja'd.... i assumed that no1 would have bothered to make a thread yet and didn't use the search bar......and yeh i would love a huge screen like something in the image especially with 3d stuff i haven't heard as many problems with broken wiis than with 360s and ps3s, nintendo seems to know what there doing with their hardware on their current systems. i guess thats a good sign
