3DS or Xbox Kinect? Which will you get?

3ds, three particular reasons.

Starfox,Paper Mario, Professor Layton, and Kid Icarus. Also the graphics capability of a gamecube on a portable system where playing it doesn't make my thumbs curl into unrecognizable forms.

Okay so that's more than three reasons.

Depends entirely on the games.

So far the Kinect lineup looks like nothing but shovelware. There's some interesting-looking (if unoriginal) games lined up for the 3DS so it has the edge. Plus, I'm one of the minority of people who really digs the whole 3D thing that's been happening lately in movies and games.

If some games come out that effectively demonstrate the usage of Kinect in a more in-depth gaming experience, I'll consider it. But it just seems like a gimmick now, especially since you can't press any buttons.

both terrible terrible games u get urself phantom hour glass, mario kart, phonix right and god there sooooo many good games! but yh those 2 SUCK only reason 2 play cooking mama is 2 see when she gets sooo angry her eye sockets actaully explode!

3DS, I haven't owned a DS since the first model came out. No bright screen, no large screen, no cameras, the first model. So I think it's about time to update. The 3D franchise reboots should be fun as well.

Neither. Both are expensive gimmicks. Can't even use the Kinect where my 360 is anyway, not enough space.

I doubt I'll get either. There are too many games coming out this fall and winter for me to spend all my "Christmas Gift Credit" on a 3DS or Kinect. I have a perfectly good DS Lite, and other than the new Paper Mario, the 3DS has no appeal to me. Kinect wouldn't be bad to have, but I'd still rather get some new games.

Neither. I no longer have faith in Nintendo, and I don't really have a use for handhelds anymore. And I hate motion controls, so I hate Kinect and all its gimmick glory.

Neither. The DS was pretty crappy and I hate motion controls. Maybe if the 3DS turns out to not suck I maaaay get that, but Nintendo's game lineup is pretty dodgy usually.

Absolutely the 3DS. I don't even care about the 3D, it's just that they're releasing a Professor Layton game for it. Plus the hardware looks insanely powerful for a handheld. And it's also because I want to show it off to all my friends...

I probably won't be getting either one immediately. The DS Lite was the best DS out of all of them if you ask me, so I think I'll be waiting for the 3DS Lite.

As for Kinect...
Meh, I've already got a Wii.
