Standard markup on electronics is about 10%. Standard does not mean universal. It is not true of video games. This is one of the flaws in the current market and also why Gamestop switched to their used games model. I've worked retail and video games (especially consoles themselves) are some of the lowest markups you can get.

I still think the 3DS is just a DS with fancy graphics. So far, the only game I'd be interested in playing is Mario Land. Ocarina of Time is the 5699889273th remake of this decade, same with Star Fox, RE: Mercenaries is not that awesome...Driver, Street Fighter, BlazBlue...eh!
I congratulate Nintendo for lowering the price almost immediately after its release. it shows they care, at least. Its competitors could learn a thing or two from this.

Aonuma kind of brought it up and hinted that he wanted to do it and asked for fan support, got the fan support, and then acknowledged the fan support saying he hoped to be able to do it sometime in the future. They aren't totally ignoring that fans are interested.OutrageousEmu said:
