3DS Update

My 3ds is updating now, apparently it has added video recording among several other things. Not sure if 10 GBA games are out yet or not. Just wanted to share so you guys could try out whatever they added

I got an update to run Mario Kart 7. Didn't see anything much different. I was also hoping for the 10 GBA games, but apparently not...

I think every time you put in a 3DS game it requires a small update. Probably to add it to the catalog of games in your Activity Log or something. I got an update for Super Mario Land 3D too a little while ago.

Just tried the video recording, it's pretty cool, but with no option to upload to Facebook, Youtube, or anywhere, i can't really make use of it. The eShop is down "for maintenance" so i can't check to see if the GBA games have released. Also these "accomplishments" seem sorta interesting, maybe an achievement system or something similar.

Thanks for the headsup! I like how the 3DS has the notification system but it seems like the potential is being wasted on info that just isn't important to me. I wonder when those GBA games will be released...they said December after all and here we are...

The 10 GBA Games will most likely hit around or on Christmas. Nintendo have re-confirmed that all of the games will be available to download and play before the end of December.

They said by the end of the year. Last I checked we still had 24 days left. We will get it.

Given the downtime, I'd wager we'll be seeing those GBA games within a week.

The 10 GBA Games will most likely hit around or on Christmas. Nintendo have re-confirmed that all of the games will be available to download and play before the end of December.

They should be released in 2011, but they have already released the 10 Nintendo Entertainments System titles. You can find them in the Nintendo E-shop > menu > settings and more > downloaded titles. You can then "redownload" them. It contains: Super Mario bros. (1), The legend of zelda 1&2, NES open tournament golf, Donkey Kong jr., Metriod, Mario&Yhosi, Mario Wrecing crew, Baloon fighter and Ice climber.
I'm really exited about playing Zelda (I), that game is so good.

I don't know when exactly you got must have bought your 3ds for that. I'm also exited about the GBA titles, there could be put some really nice games in that bundle.

You have to be a Nintendo "Ambassador" to gain access to the extra games. Nintendo 3DS owners were eligible for the Ambassador Program if they connected to the Nintendo eShop or performed a system update before 11:59pm EST August 11, 2011.

Nope, if you are eligble for the NES games you will get the GBA games.
