A while back I found a simple turn based game made by what I believe to be a charity group to raise awarness about the harshness of living in a third world country. In the game you buy crops, have kids, modify your farm, educate your kids, keep you family healthy, buy livestock and you then sell the crops and livestock. You also have common problems that come with living in a third world country diesease, drought, civil war, raids and theft will all try to keep you down. This game is very hard and unforgiving, it's comparable to Farmville with more strategy and the game hates you with a passion. The main goal of the game is to buy all upgrades for your farm.

I beat the game in 13 turns.
I would have done it a lot sooner if I'd realised I could beat it by buying all the project things.

How many tries? How many turns on the one you beat the game on?

Played this a long time ago.

All I learned from it is that apparently people living in third world countries would fare a lot better with a white guy in charge, which I really doubt is the message the game is meant to convey.

Two tries could have ended it around turn 10 but kept going to 24 making money and buying better farming stuff and animals until I got bored.
