...debating whether or not to be a complete asshole and keep running it non stop :p
If you look at the comments on the site you download it from, someone says they already have a program that keeps running it...

Jumped out at me right away. So let's interpret the game the same way the piece has been interpreted and see if the analysis holds:

-The true music comes from the environment, not the performer.
-Every experience is different
-Absolute silence never exists, try as we might

Three basic interpretations of the piece. Now we alter them to fit the game:

-The true game takes places in the gamer's environment, not in the game - not sure how I feel about this one...I guess you're just sitting there waiting for someone to knock you off so the tension is coming from your own anxiety.
-Every experience is different - I'm sure that holds true
-Being completely alone (or unique?) is never possible, try as we might - While I don't much more about the game than what I've read here, this to me seems to be the most possible theme. No matter how hard you try, you can't separate yourself from everybody.

Okay. That's that.

The utter opposite of mmo.

I'd like this game a whole lot better if there was a different color scheme, but I guess that's just me being nit-picky.

Well I made it halfway through -- I've played this game before actually.

It's a sim of downloading pornography photos on a flakey dialup connection.

Also your housemates keep picking up the phone in the other room.

Whether it's a game or not, it's still a pretty cool idea.
As cool as realizing someone posted at the same time you did.
Then three seconds later, you move on.

Pretty much, but still cool while it lasts I guess...

I can confirm that it is actually possible to win... not that I'm sad enough to have been trying *looks shifty*

Hmm, sounds like another super-conceptual piece of art that requires participants to actually do nothing. Actually, they even have the SAME name. Well I'll be damned...

John Cage's 4'33'' [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4%E2%80%B233%E2%80%B3]
Ha, before I clicked on the link, I though it was a sly dig at Mortal Kombat, maybe about how Johnny Cage is a boring and useless character, or that he's so cheap and broken, or so awesome you can complete the game in less than 5 minutes with very little effort.

I have heard of that music piece 4'33, but I didn't know the composer's name.

That is one of the weirdest concepts ever.. So naturally, I have to try it.

Edit: And after seven attempts, I stopped. Got 1/6th of the way through the last time. I figure there's someone who deserves to win this particular game more than me.
You did way better than I did at the game.
I've won. And have now deleted it off my computer...

somehow I just won!
Yeah, it seems like no-one else is playing anymore...

A funny idea that will quickly be impossible to win, though it likely is already.

Three weeks later, victory!

Interesting concept. Game or not, I like the idea behind it.
