Guitar Hero is my go to for my crew, but I really loved 4 player splitscreen. I have no clue why developers won't add this feature.
I've been racking up hours on Timesplitters 3 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 because of the local multiplayer for years. Nothing like blasting your buddies and talking smack to their face as they sit next to you on the couch. I too have never really been bothered by the "can't see" issue that so many complain about. If you're playing with four people, you probably have a decent sized TV (one would hope).Furburt said:I miss it.
I mean, I have a big enough TV, so I don't have the problem with the 'can't see' thing, and I have such fond memories of running around like madmen on Perfect Dark, trying to out N-bomb each other.
Fun times.
Yes, bring back 4 player splitscreen, and while you're at it, bring back fucking bots!
I tell ya, kids these days....
Easily the most fun I've had with gaming has been with 4 player split screen. Even better with a homemade screen divider - 2 on 2 teams. It should be more prevalent now we all have massive TV's which means the screens aren't all tiny messy slow down fests.TheZooblord said:It's a very simple formula. One console, one couch, one TV, four screens. Four happy friends.
Yes, yes it was. More fun to play with your friends, as you could just all aim into the mist and fire aimlessly and get the best high scores ever?!Daveman said:THIS IS WHY TIMESPLITTERS WAS INFINITELY BETTER THAN HALO.
Excessive use of caps ftw (also obviously it's just my opinion, douches).
Just went to the store the other day. "OFFLINE PLAYERS: 1-2"Aussie Legend said:I think Capcom said that Lost Planet 2 is gonna have 4 player splitscreen, which should be interesting.
