Cloud Mario Revealed for Super Mario Galaxy 2

Mario will get his fluffiest power-up ever in Super Mario Galaxy 2 [http://www.amazon.com/Super-Mario-Galaxy-2-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B002BSA388/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1278529430&sr=1-1].

After becoming a bee, a flying racoon, and a caped superhero, Mario is finally ready to take a trip through the clouds as a cloud. As uncovered by Official Nintendo Magazine UK [http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/article.php?id=16673], Mario's latest power-up revealed for Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the ultra fluffy Cloud Mario.

Currently, details are sparse on Mario's new suit made from evaporated water droplets typically suspended in the atmosphere until they amass into precipitation. I'm hoping that it'll be cumulus, but you never know, it could be cirrus or altostratus. On another note, why are clouds so happy in the Mario games?

Though only rumored at this point, according to NeoGAF [http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=363729&page=71] players will point at the screen with the Wii Remote to draw clouds while Mario is in cloud form. Mario will then jump from cloud to smiling cloud.

Nintendo just keeps coming up with ways to make Mario cuter. For the sake of all that is holy, Cloud Mario even wears a necklace of clouds and a neat cloud hat. I would make out with him if I could.

Ok, that's not one of their better ideas; but being able to create platforms wherever you want does sound like a pretty cool idea, regardless of what framing device they use for it.

I didn't play Galaxy 1, and I am not getting Galaxy 2.

They should make more Mario games with him jumping into paintings Ala Super Mario 64, that was a cooler concept

And yet... Peach still won't sleep with him. He's literally grabbing collecting the stars for her... she's such a *****. I'm imagining a game where he finally snaps and kills her.

When I read the tittle I thought to myself "Holy crapcicle! They're going to ANOTHER game tie in like SSBB, but with FF7?!?" But then I was disappointed... or relieved, I wasn't too sure. :p

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure that adding new outfits is really necessary. Nintendo, why don't you just make Mario the way he is rather than constantly trying to add something new that will inevitably be stupid? We'll still love him... or at least I will. :p

So you wouldn't play a game because the 4 second method of travel to the next world/level is different. That is being picky to the max.

Super Mario 64: Jump in a painting, 4 seconds after a level title is show, you are in the other dimension world.

Super Mario Galaxy: You get shot through space, 4 seconds of flying and the level title it shown, you are on another planet which is the world your level is on.

You must be the type of gamer that the game developers fear, the type that won't play a game because there is a slight unimportant difference in a game.

I actually liked Super Mario Galaxy better than Super Mario 64. Galaxy took platforming to a whole new level. I think it is pretty amazing that I don't have to play on a relatively flat uninteresting level, and instead I get to have a world that as multiple sections and I can start out walking in a straight line at point A and then arrive at point A again with out turning back. Yeah, they didn't do that with every level, but it made the game more fun when the levels were changed up for different types every few and sometimes every level.

Super Mario 64 was great for its time, but in the gaming world today, that style of level making is out of date. If a developer made levels like that today, I would call them unoriginal or lazy for not trying to make some new and exciting.

I didn't read your whole post, it was pretty long and I think what I am about to say will make it irrelevant.

The reason I don't play Galaxy is because it is on the wii, I don't like the motion controls, I had the N64, loved the N64, and that's why I loved Super Mario 64

The headline confused me.
I thought you meant this Clou-
THIS Cloud:
But this looks incredibly fun. Drawing just like Okami.
Also, it's time to cross streams for a fluffy mess:

...I wanted Mario as Cloud with a big wrench instead of the Buster sword, hell, you could call it a BUSTER WRENCH.

He would eat driffrent mushrooms that gives him powers.
