This week's Alt+Esc features Super Mario Crossover, a game where Mario, Link and others take on the big, bad Bowser. If they could all battle each other, who do you think would win? What other kinds of gaming cross-over battles would you like to see?

I'm gonna assume that all the characters are at the peak of their power, in which case Samus would stand a better chance than most.

What Contra have I been playing?

Out of those options, though, going with nostalgic versions, probably Samus. She's the most maneuverable and she's got tons of health. Still sticking with the originals, Mario is a no brainer (at max he's a two hit kill), Mega Man may have the most weapons, but he's a lot easier to hit, Simon's jumping left much to be desired and to even hit anything out of close range he'd need a special weapon (actually, that could be said for mario as well) and bowser is slow, huge, and easy to dodge his attacks if you keep a good range (which samus sure would).

The only one with any real chance is Link, and he can only move orthogonally, so his weapons are pretty easy to avoid.
