I don't know, like you don't really see many games get a deep dive into them like you used to, aside from the highest of the high. Like I haven't seen quite as much of a flood of content to Deltarune chapter 3/4 that I did to the initial releases. It can't be because they aren't good, they are amazing, but I think that everything moves so fast we don't have time to really fall in love with something anymore.I consider it a huge positive. It means the people making their games, care about their work and to leave their best impression possible. I say live in and cherish these moments to make them last a life time.
What do you mean "we"? I have all the time in the world to fall in love with something. Not every single time, but I treasure either something unique and good, or whatever interests me. Especially when I know I am down to play the game at day one.I think that everything moves so fast we don't have time to really fall in love with something anymore.
I mean individually we do, but its cool when there are a lot of other people you can love a game with and you have people doing deep dives into it and figuring out mechanics and secrets and interviews with the creators and such. What do you mean "we"? Any recommendations? I'm going to need something to play after Fuga 2. Fuga 3 is already on the list. Not sure if the Raidou remake which came out like a day or 2 ago counts but either way, game's amazingballs! This year is full of epic rpgs. Also we got the Lies of P dlc. That one's hype too. Been mainly playing that up til now.
Ninja Gaiden II Black. I appreciate the shout out either way.Ninja Gaiden black
I'm just pissed that the mechanic was tried in humankind a few years ago, bombed hard, and for some reason the civ dev just tried it again.I think so far the biggest let down was Civ 7. The mix-and-match of leaders and civilization was a stupid idea. The main menu theme was the only ost that I liked.
Clair Obscur is the unanimous masterpiece. Can’t go wrong with that. Personally, I’m loving lies of P the most right now and if you never played it like me it’s an ideal time to jump on cause there’s a bundle of the base game and dlc at a great price. Also monster hunter’s always fun and kingdom come 2 or tainted grail for a first person Skyrim-style rpg. Kcd2 is more realistic medieval fare while tainted grail is dark fantasy.Maybe it's because I haven't been paying as much attention to gaming as I used to, but, it doesn't feel like there has been much hype for anything this year. Even the Switch 2 came and went in a howl of "how much for games now?" Sure there were bits where Doom and Clair Obscur came in and caused a stir, but I haven't really noticed anyone getting that excited about anything else.
