Stephanie Meyer's idea of how women should act bugged me.
Same here. It applies to how she thinks men should act too. Her gender politics are all different shades of fucked up.

Did no one think of giving him a fucking cheeseburger?

I'm just waiting for a story about a boy throwing red painted tennis balls at people yelling "get in the fucking pokeball *****".
Now that you mentioned it, so am I! Or some kid throwing the toy pokeballs at people's pets, or being caught trying to shove some poor helpless fuzzy into one of them! D:

OT: Yeah, I have to go with Reservoir on that one. No one noticed or questioned why he was only in boxers. But I guess it would be obvious once you read about his actions. Still... If I'm going to go try and bleed someone in an effort to feed my own mental deficiency, I'd atleast put on some freakin pants! Well, and a tank top since my going topless counts as indecent exposure! XD

"When police arrived at the apartment, they saw Mr Bensley hissing and growling in the car park."

That's the point at which I started laughing.

Twilight series inspire people with mental illnesses? Ha. Haha. HAHAHA.

"Beware my sparkles! Don't worry young girl! I shall protect you from this car!" *SMASH*

Sorry... couldn't help it.

OT: This was very dissapointing I was really hoping for vampires... *sigh*

Well, I personally think Twilight is the ultimate piece of crap on this planet but I doubt it could actually be the leading cause for something like that. Now REAL vampire fiction, that shit could make an insane person go berserk.

Also OT: Not to be rude or anything but.... "really hoping for vampires"? Are you serious or are you just messing about?

Well, it's interesting to see how thoroughly vampires have made their way into the culture at large here in the US. I don't believe that Twilight or any other vampire material was to blame for this, but it's obvious that it had an influence on how this guys mental problem's manifested.

always love how it's the things they do that's at fault. Definitely not the fact that people near him should have seen the signs that he wasn't well. As little as I like twilight this is just silly to blame those for it

obviously this kid was watching blade if he was influenced by twilight he would have just watched that women sleep and then made constipated expressions for no reason

I hope they just used a tranq gun on him. It would have completed the picture.

A little disappointing but I'll take the old-lady-biting maniac if it means something interesting has happened.

I guess the best way to cure of his vampire obsession is to strap him to a chair and make him watch the Twilight films to bring him back to Earth.

Maybe he was trying to disprove twlight and instead act like that fright night movie?

Still this is hardly the first time this happened. and not nearly as cool as the Zombies that walk around in Haiti
