ESRB Confirms Sonic Adventure for Xbox Live, PSN, and PC

Some of Sega's best games are coming to Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, with Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX being the latest confirmations.

Sega just can't seem to keep any secrets these days. Last week, we figured that beloved Dreamcast title Sonic Adventure was coming to Xbox Live when it was when the Korean Ratings Board revealed that Crazy Taxi and [http://www.amazon.com/Sonic-Adventure-Sega-Dreamcast/dp/B00000K3X9/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1276196912&sr=1-1] had received ratings (which means that most other countries across the globe are likely to receive them, too, since South Korea is often overlooked when it comes to DLC titles). This is now confirmed thanks to the ESRB, which has provided ratings for both Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and PC.

Unsurprisingly, the ESRB has rated both Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure DX E for Everyone. 360 Gamer, a UK magazine, <a href=http://www.destructoid.com/yup-sonic-adventure-coming-to-xbox-live-arcade-165211.phtml>has already reviewed the game and given it a mediocre 5/10. Meanwhile, the ESRB doesn't have a listing for a new version of [http://www.amazon.com/Crazy-Taxi-Sega-Dreamcast/dp/B0000488VP/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1276197019&sr=8-1].

What's weird about this whole situation is that Sega has yet to actually announce that any of these games are coming, and the company hasn't commented on the leaks, either. Gamers still view the Dreamcast with a great deal of fondness and have been clamoring for re-releases of their favorite titles from that console. Accordingly, it makes little sense that Sega would remain quiet about how it's doing what its fans actually want, especially after 's [http://www.amazon.com/Bionic-Commando-PlayStation-3/dp/B000ZK7ZOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1276197041&sr=1-1] rebooting was such a letdown last year.

If we're lucky, Sega will announce that it's got a ton of other Dreamcast games coming to the current generation of consoles. I would happily purchase copies of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker [http://www.amazon.com/Jet-Grind-Radio-Sega-Dreamcast/dp/B00004S99S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1276197071&sr=1-1] if it was ever released. What about you? Which of Sega's games would you like to see re-released for download?

Why do we not have a HD Crazy Taxi? I can think of many people who would buy this!

Calumon: The only way to play it now is in Seaside Arcades! >: (

I remember some jackass telling me that DC games wouldn't go onto PSN, or LIVE because"it's not worth it if there's no online". Hah.

Well, my wish list would include things like "Skies Of Arcadia", and "Tech Romancer".

Not to mention the Genesis "Shadowrun" game.

Though technically I'm not sure if Sega itself owns those titles.

As far as Korea getting these games, well I wouldn't be too sure that this means there will be a US release. To put things into perspective I've been waiting what seems like a year for a PSN release of "Vagrant Story" which was released in Europe, but has yet to make it to the US.... as odd and ironic as that may be.

Why would they want to release Sonic Adventure AND Sonic Adventure DX? They should really just pick one or the other, preferably the second one because it has more content.

Known about this for about a billion years, have even seen screenshots and video of it.

It's a bit of a basic job, and I really would have preferred a proper 720p remake (there are widescreen hacks for the PC version, so it can't be that bloody hard), but I'll probably still get it.

As long they get rid of that damn clunky controls on the last iteration I'll put it on the long long looooong list of "to buy on this awesome year of Wii great titles" (no sarcasm intended).

Sonic Adventure never really interested me, but I AM really hoping for a chance to play the original Jet Grind Radio, as I've only played JSRF. I'm also really hoping that if it sells well, we might FINALLY get a 3rd game! I mean, they acknowledge the games in Sega Superstar Tennis and All-Stars Racing.

I had it for Dreamcast, it was decent, but SE2 was just so much better I don't think I'll actually buy it.
