PS - Having the NPC follow the player could be done in an instance area, but doing it in open world would be tough. The NPC would essentially become the player's pet, requiring that the player know exactly where they're going. It would also require a means of preventing the player from just walking off aimlessly with the NPC in tow.

Ah, yes. I know if I was facing a supernatural serial killer I'd take the route through darkened caves filled with possible ambush spots and choke points rather than the sunlit overland route with wide open spaces.

Aww.:/ Oh well, the narrative had to come to an end. Will Lulzy spend her days in a pub ranting about how the so-called defenders of the common man are all complete morons? Will she be commiserating with other retired heroes like the once-great Star on Chest? Or will she decide that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb? Will she put in a resume at Mordor? Stay tuned!

This episode had me howling, but seeing you mention a conclusion has me sad-faced - I've been loving Lulzy's adventures and looking forward to them with great anticipation every week. I know it had to end sooner or later, but I've been hoping for a "later". Much later. Much, much later!

You put an indicator on the map. The player finds where he's going the same way he finds all his other objectives.
