He's already noticed that I'm young. What a flirt.
Epic line was epic!

I can't believe next's week one is the last, what a downer. On the plus side I'm away from the internet for three weeks so if it's a 'surprise' conclusion or the end of the season or something I'll find about it without having the grief of worrying.

Can these two star-cross'd lovers defy fate and find happiness in a world rife with war, spiders and stupid Rangers?

Hopefully we'll find out soon, because we're coming to the end of Shamus Plays: LotRO, and that makes me sadface so very hard. :(

You put an indicator on the map. The player finds where he's going the same way he finds all his other objectives.
By blundering through the paths of about two dozen dog-sized, bloodthirsty spiders?

Ha, this reminded me of DM of the Rings (Shamus reminds me of Shamus?) when the players complain that all that they fight in the campaign is orcs. I guess spiders are protoorcs.

The conclusion of Lulzy's adventures? I guess she can deal with nigh infinite stupidity and spiders, but a broken heart is where her will falters. </3

Shamus, you should totaly make this into a published game novel. I was hoping the "conclusion" would never come.

I can see you sitting at you desk, chuckling maniacally as you wrote part 7.

PS - Having the NPC follow the player could be done in an instance area, but doing it in open world would be tough. The NPC would essentially become the player's pet, requiring that the player know exactly where they're going. It would also require a means of preventing the player from just walking off aimlessly with the NPC in tow.
It only requires that if the designers insist that players interact with the game only the way they intended and in no other way, even if the other way can be more fun.

I had endless fun with similar quests in Oblivion, where you could get additional free combat support by refusing to take escorts to their final destinations. Why do the designers have to block this? You make the NPC follow the player, and you give the player a quest arrow that shows them where they are supposed to be going... and then you let them go wherever they want. Make the NPCs nag the player about the quest every once in awhile, if you feel the need.

Aside from the fact that Strider looks as though he REALLY needs to poop, that was hilarious. The story also seemed to be getting slightly interesting (sans spiders of course)

Inside, we find a familiar scene.
I really lol'd at that.

It seems that the Evil Guys need about one wraithified ranger to kill all the rest. The one guy just needs to stab them all in the gut when they come and try to hug him arms wide open. "Oh poor brother. Here, let me hug you to make the b- *stab* urgh".

Hooray for Lulzy! :.D What a wonderful turn of events, and may I add that she looks fantastic. I'm sure Stridagorn will be stricken at first beholding.

I don't get this plausibility problem you have with caverns under a swamp. There's actually a lake that got drained due to mining under the lake, so caverns under a swamp is not such an impossible deal. They'd likely be DEEP under the swamp, but the center of the earth is rock (well, sort of), not water, so the water really does sit on TOP of the rock in most of the world.

Shamus, not that your other stuff isn't interesting to read, but you seem to have an amazing talent for producing new and original and funny material from Tolkien's work... or more properly, from other people's treatments of Tolkien's work.

This has been just awesome. Looking forward to Part 25.

Hilarious, as always. This series actually made me consider playing an MMO. I'll be sad to see this series end.
