I see people saying that they wish bane was bigger, This could be "pre venom" bane, I know that the Nolanverse tries to ground itself in reality but I wouldnt rule out some sort of transformation for Bane completely.

I must say, I love this poster. It's so powerful, Batman against the hordes.

As good as this film looks, I really can't get over my hatred of Bane's mask. It looks like somebody in the costume department was told 'make it animalistic' and then went crazy. Bat-shit crazy, if you will...
Every time I see the mask, it reminds me of Goatse o_0

I don't know if anyone else is noticing this, but Bane kinda looks like an action figure in this poster. Just seems to be a bit too clean and inanimate. Even his coat looks somehow plastic and rubbery.

After The Dark Knight Warner told Nolan to do what the fuck he wants, so he made Inception. And after Inception, they told him to go off and do whatever the fuck he wants with Batman too (although I very much doubt there was much involvement from them over TDK anyway).

We should be safe.
That's actually what I'm afraid of though...I'm scared he'll take the "I can do anything I want" thinking and turn his genius into hubris. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge nolan fan, but I just get really afraid that he'll make something terrible and screw it up.

Not like any of that's going to stop me from seeing it the first day, though...

I can already foresee my group of friends going " I didn't like it as much as the Dark Knight, because Heath Ledger as the joker was in it and blahblahblah". Yes, Heath Ledger did a fenomenal job, but his death was also a huge push in the advertisement campain. They'll all find things to nitpick on Bane because he's not a guy that died.

I really have high hopes for this film.

I love the posters from The Batman movies. My only problem is that the posters give us a tone and atmosphere that aren't present in the actual film. So we'll see.

I would; TDK is noticeably more realist in its approach than even Batman Begins, which was hardly a fantastical take on Batman to begin with. Sure, it had the whole 'ancient secret society ready to burn down Gotham' angle, but that was as downplayed as possible, and none of it crossed over into borderline-magic.

I have a feeling it's going to come down to purely what character people are more inclined to like, as opposed to preferring one or the other because of the quality of the writing or acting. (Although I'm sure the side of it you bring up will be there, at least in part, too.)

I just do not know if Catwoman will be a good fit, and I am not a big fan of Anne Hatheway, but the rest of the movie sounds like it will be great. For now I will just try to keep my hopes in check.
