The Desert Bus engines are fired up and ready to begin the long journey between Las Vegas, Nevada and Tuscon, Arizona over-and-over for charity!

LoadingReadyRun's fourth annual Desert Bus for Hope, a videogame marathon and variety show benefiting Publisher's Club membership [http://www.childsplaycharity.org/index.php] purchased this weekend, The Escapist will donate $10.

The "winning" cast member will take a real pie to the face during the live broadcast.

Throughout the event, LoadingReadyRun will also be auctioning off The Escapist prize packs around the same time as call-ins from our editorial staff and talent, so make sure to watch! You can check out the schedule below.

There should be a countdown timer on the main Escapist page... What the LRR team does is really top shelf, and it is great to see how The Escapist is getting behind them even more this year to support. I hope they are stuck playing for at least 7 days this year.

Agreed, that was way too overly harsh, assuming that that is the original unmodified quote. If that was edited after by a mod, well I could see the reasoning, but as it is? It's fine, it's a simple suggestion that maybe he would rather see a spectacle then wish torture on the LRR crew
