Hey, at the start of next year i will be starting 6th form and i was just wondering (because i have very little idea) if these subjects go well together:

ICT
Buisness
Geograpahy
History

I would also like to know if they are hard or not :)

ICT and Business go together, and Geography and History go together. But I wouldn't group them all in as one.

ICT is good because these days lots more companies use computers and stuff, can be hard depending on what area, programming is hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it gets much easier :)

Business... i dunno, my cousin said it was really boring, and even dropped out of his 6th form because of it, which probably means its pretty hard too XD

Geography, its a nice subject, but its not the most useful unless you wanna do something that involves it when your older :) but geography isnt that hard, depends on what area's your studying

History, its easy as long as you have a good memory :p dont know how useful it'll be unless again you want a job in that area

ICT, wil help you with Busines. Geography may help you with History, but I actually think you might gat more use out of busines when it comes to History.

Just so you know, Physics is probably easier than Maths - a lot of Physics is just common sense.
Maths is only really useful if you intend to do a science-ish subject at university.

I did Physics a year early. If you don't pay attention for even a tiny amount of time, you're screwed.

If anyone can tell me about my subject choices too that'd be grand :)

English Language
Maths
History
Graphic Design

Depends on what you want to do at University if you go there.

That will give you a very broad selection of courses, but you'll probably have to do a preliminary course (1 extra year), I say that because University courses tend to have 3 course prerequisites and only two of each of them go together.

Maths is pretty hard, but no coursework.
History is easy, no coursework.

Dunno about the other 2.

But they do compliment each other fairly well, depends on what area your going to be choosing in Uni. But if you dont know yet then you still have a good choice of systems.

Geography is relatively straightforward, but there's quite a lot to remember. The coursework isn't too bad, it's just writing up a case study on either human or physical geography in Year 12, and then you do some management piece in Year 13. The exams do consist largely of essay-style questions, certainly in Year 13, so it all depends really on what your strengths are and whether Geography will provide you with a wider range of opportunities in the future.

Looking at your choices they will put you in good stead in case you change your mind about whatever you want to do; I chose Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geography, wanting to go on to do Physics at uni, and now I'm doing Sound Technology.

Also, a small piece of advice: A Levels are very passable, as long as you put the work in at home. And doing well in your AS Levels in Year 12 will make Year 13 a hell of a lot easier. I know from (bad) experience :S

History is pretty damn difficult in my opinion! But it's definitely worth doing it if you enjoy it

And theres a lot to remember in geography, but you can bullshit most of it XD
