[HEADING=2]Pirate Ship[/HEADING]
As the first of the boarding party pulled themselves over the railing and onto the top deck, they found themselves among a chaotic frenzy. Pirates were repelling Inquisitor boarders on the other side of the ship with exceeding speed. Most inquisitors never made it to the top deck; their grappling hooks being cut before they had the chance. However, between the cover fire from the shore and their shear numbers, they Inquisition had managed to create a foot hold at the bow.. Surrounding them were dozens of pirates lead by a tall man with a cloak, a sword in one hand and a pistol in the other. The man wore an ostentatious hat and bore a beard nearly halfway down his chest.
With each Inquisitor the pirates cut or shot down, two took their place. Realizing this, the pirates were more occupied with making ready to sail. Judging by the state of affairs, the vessel would likely be ready to sail within the next ten minutes.
Meanwhile, below deck, Reyes opened the door to find a long, empty corridor lead the length of the ship, flanked by doors and capped by a pair of stairs leading down at each end. Though sounds could be heard from both above and below, no people were to be seen on this particular deck at this particular moment.
