(Disclaimer: I will confess to not having played the vast majority of games mentioned here. "Uncharted", I tried the first one but gave up on it before I could actually finish it; "Mass Effect", I've played the whole trilogy through. Otherwise, haven't played them. Mostly.)

Just one question about including Jennifer Hale: No mention of her work before "Mass Effect"? I know I never played the "Knights Of The Old Republic" games(heretic that I am; I'm more the "Rogue Squadron", "Republic Commando" type); but you say nothing of her character from the "Mercenaries" games, Jennifer Mui?

Maybe that's just me, but I would have thought you'd have brought that up.

Also, there must be something wrong with me when I say that I've only ever heard Troy Baker doing his impression of a British accent; specifically Jetfire in "Transformers: War for Cybertron" and "Fall of Cybertron", and Commander Charles "Charlie" Gregory in "Binary Domain". Then again, look at the fact that the kind of "Star Wars" games I like are "Rogue Squadron", "Republic Commando" and "Battlefront". Wasn't Troy Baker also the voice of Booker DeWitt in "BioShock Infinite", though? And how was he in that?

Hehe...Hayter is pulling a sexyface pose. You adorable flirtmonkey!

Personally, with Troy Baker, I preferred his voicework on Pagan Min from far cry 4. Joel was good, but I think the writing and minimal use of speech brought more character than his actual voice. Whereas personality shines through Pagan's speech a lot more. Flamboyant, camp tyranny. Quite splendid really. Pity he's hardly around in the game.

I was honestly surprised that Armin Shimerman wasn't on the list. His performance as Andrew Ryan in Bioshock is nothing short of spellbinding. I was shocked to find out that was him - it sounded nothing like anything I'd heard from him before (seriously, compare Ryan to Quark or the Principal from Buffy - you wouldn't think it was the same man).

Hah! I actually thought before going from 6 to 7 "If this one isn't going to be Simon Templeman as Kain, imma flip my shit".
I thought the exact same thing. I really need a new Legacy of Kain game. Nosgoth doesn't count.
Well, at least it's ten thousand times better than the alternative *throws a dart at Dead Sun*

I didn't know about that game up until now. A reboot that doesn't star Kain or even Raziel? I'm glad it didn't get released.

On one hand, I loved the actress when she starred in Alien and Aliens. Great performance and was one heck of a strong female protagonist. She even did quite well throughout the series in Mass Effect as a voice actress.
Ok forgive me if I'm missing something blindingly obvious, but you seem to be confusing Sigourney Weaver (actress, most known for the Alien franchise, has done no voicework outside of Alien: Isolation DLC AFAIK) and Jennifer Hale (voice actress, most well know for Mass Effect franchise, has done little in person acting). If you were just making a joke about similarities of Ripley and Shepard forgive me for killing it.

I'll add two names. Steve Downes as the Master Chief from Halo. Also Keith David, for his roles as David Anderson in Mass Effect, The Arbiter in Halo, and, more importantly, Keith David in Saints Row.

I'm kind of torn about Jennifer Hale as the voice actress for Commander Shepard (female version).

That actually hurt my insides, like powerfully hurt. You forgot Sigourney Weaver existed? You should probably get some rest, mate. You must be exhausted or something.

Metal Gear Solid was not set in Outer Heaven (that was Metal Gear from 1987), it was on Shadow Moses Island in the Fox Archipelago of Alaska.
