I did miss some games (and some were mentioned in this thread, like Half-Life, Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment).

Missed:
Unreal (the first one)
Pharaoh (Sierra City Builder)
I-War (ocean/particle systems space sim)
Need for Speed (back when EA was decent)

WindKnight

Quiet, Odd Sort.

For Cybernator, you really have to play a translation of the original Japanese version, Assault Suits Valken. Th little pilot icons make the dialogue and plot much clearer, and there are elements of the final level cut out for Cybernator. Don't get me wrong, totally get why a certain scene got cut, but some of the dialogue lost in the final section makes Cybernator lose a little something.

Dune 2 was alright I guess, I remember loving the multiple endings concept though I never managed to get the "true" ending.
Multiple endings? There is a ending for every house, but that's it. Could it be you confound it with Dune?

Also the description of Dune 2 in the list sounds like Schuyler is also talking about Dune and not Dune 2. Dune 2 is "just" a RTS, i see no similarities to Civ there.
Sorry for my english, it's my second language.

Hmm, possibly! The Dune I recall, you could do things like fly straight to the final boss fairly near the start of the game, bringing on a cut scene about how I got shot down and killed and how it was so stupid of me. Could have swore that was Dune 2, but if it was Dune 1 I stand corrected!

Dune II was pretty much Command & Conquer (which came right after it by the same studio), set in the Dune setting. The only real choices you had were which of the three houses you played, and which territory you were going to try to control for each mission. They also had a Sega Genesis version that was renamed Dune: The Battle for Arrakis (Or apparently the pc version in the UK sold as Dune II: Battle for Arrakis). Dune 2000 was basically the same game remade with live action FMV between missions and using the Command & Conquer : Red Alert engine.
