Overpowered to the point of stupidity, this ship is able to take on most capital ships one on one and win in TIE Fighter.

Plus, you get to be Darth Vader's wingman in it. How the hell can you possibly forget that?

Thanks for making mention of my favorite ship in the entire Star Wars franchise. I don't care if it was exclusive to the game universe and apparently inferior to Thrawn's Missile Boats, it is the most ominous yet coolest looking TIE fighter in the franchise.

Boba Fetts Slave 1. Enough was indeed said... I know a lot of people poke at Fetts utter uselessness in the movies, and they are right. I still think he's fucking awesome though, and I liked him lots in some of the books. He is still my favorite starwars badass!

Seconded. My reaction to the Star Vipers in SOTE when I first saw them was... underwhelmed. Like a sail barge in space, they just looked crap.

The good ol' TIE-D, on the other hand, was badass in every way. But for the life of me I can't figure out why everyone gets it's appearance wrong. It didn't have Interceptor style wings, and it didn't have the standard ball engine on the back either. It had a big-ass boom coming out the back. Where else do you think they managed to fit stuff like the hyperdrive?
