Killing Tequatl in guild wars 2 was pretty damn impressive when the revamped version was first introduced. It's big boss fight with a ton of players. Unfortunately now that people have figured out how to do it effectively it's been reduced to a very formulaic fight that people do on schedule for loot.

Ya, he's still pretty cool to fight though. I honestly think Jormag is the more epic boss now simply because from a mechanical and damage perspective, I find him more challenging. The only thing that really makes Tequatl hard is the time limit. Still, both of those dragons are pretty awesome fights.

Yeah, Jormag is pretty fun too (unless you do it every day). The other open world dragon, Shatterer, badly needs revamp though because as awesome as it's model is you can just stand there autoattacking from the side until it dies. Although Zhaitan is the most disappointing dragon in the game, it doesn't even feel like a fight especially since they nerfed the spawns.

Agreed. Though, I have a feeling they won't revamp Zhaitan with them working on new content. All they really have to do with the Shatterer is allow it to move around, sort of like the Karka Queen. Having said all that, I do think they're going in a much better direction with bosses after doing the Shadow of the Dragon fight as well as the Vine Wrath. They're not necessarily super difficult or anything, just more involved.

My favorite MMO 'boss' was getting my guild together to go and roll 40 Lv1 gnomes and go and take down Hogger in Elwynn Forest before Cataclysm.

You tend to gather a crowd when you and 40 other gnomes march through Ironforge, Deeprun Tram and Stormwind to kill a Lv10 Elite. Fun times.

Aww damn was hopeful, even though Warhammer Online is back in an official fan run capacity only, that the Vulture Lord from WAR would be featured. It's an intense, mechanics heavy fight with multiple stages, lots of positioning and a brilliant light show to complement it.

Also yes I do mean official, Games Workshop has granted express permission for the Return of Reckoning team to bring the game back so long as they do not make any money from the endeavor.
I must investigate this immediately.

This should've been named "Top 8 WoW bosses" -_-'

I'm utterly dissapointed you didn't mention Ur-Draug in The Secret World.

Or this bad boy while fighting against angry undead mayans.

This is why I love these threads. I learn so many things from you guys, like awesome TSW bosses.
