8 Values Test

Let's be clear here; "Libertarian socialism" is the stuff of traditional anarchism. Anarcho-communism, Mikhail Bakunin, fundamental opposition to the existence of the state and ownership of property, etc.

I've been on these forums with the people doing this test for years, I've got a pretty good idea of their political values, and it's an absolutely crazy and bullshit description of just about everyone who has got it from doing this test (including me). I'm not even a socialist!

It is broken. Hopelessly, stupidly broken.

I mean no online test has really much validity to them besides being able to brag to people online you got the result you wanted as such, their only value is entertainment value and not much else, which does make it kinda funny that a lot of them try to present themselves as academic or scientific, but I mean that is the nature of marketing, so you know I wouldn't take any of them seriously.

That being said I did get Libertarian Communism, which unlike other people that have gotten the result him I actually am, since you know I do oppose the existence of the state and of private property, though even then the questions are kinda shallow and make it pretty obvious what you're going to get since they are designed for this binary approach for all "8 values" and again it doesn't really seem to me as anything other than a distraction, considering the only real relevance to your politics is how you actually act on them, so it doesn't truly matter what values you may have if you aren't doing anything about them.

I don't think libertarian socialism is necessarily anarchist. Most communists in Europe and the US nowadays would also count as libertarian socialists.
