So Our school is having a fancy dress thing, and it's 80s themed.

I have no idea what to do...
Any of you chaps have ideas?

Also, what are your favourite 80s movies?

One of my favorites is The Goonies but there are honestly so many, I can't even begin to list them all. You can always dress up like Sloth or Chunk (if you want to dress up from someone in a movie):

To me 80's was also very "hair band rocker", so if you wear a big long hair wig, tease it and put on leather, you should be good to roll!

Whow! That is a bit back in my memory dude. Whas in my childhood time. Lemme see.. bit of punk (began in mid 70's though and reached a peak mid 80's). New wave style, think of weird looking hairstyles like your hair is static (straight up) bit of the beginning of the goth scene (think of the cure). Big sunglasses. Miami vice. Back to the future.
Bit of the time that electronics like computers and portable media devices got produced for the masses. Lot's of synthesizer music. The cold war was a big thing and songs were written about it. That what comes to mind. Hope it helps.

bright lipstick
cheek emphasis
studded gloves
and to finish it off... scream at really high every so often

yes it's embarrassing but that is the point...and i won the best costume competition
