Considering now that both the 3DS and NGP have been revealed, which are you more intrigued by?, Essentially its either the tech with the 3DS (which is pretty cool), or the power and overall potential of the NGP.

personally im more inclined towards the NGP, i think the duel analogues will be a game changer.

I don't really care for either, but I'm very interested in how the PSP2 will sell. If it sells well, I'd think the hardware companies would be more likely to put out the new consoles sooner rather than later. If it does terrible, well, I guess I'll have to wait.

The power of the PSP2 is pretty intriguing, but all this business I'm hearing about a monthly data plan fee and whatnot is really turning me off the system. Features are great, but I don't need a second cell phone. I just want to play some damn games, you know? Forget this iPhone ripoff hooplah.

I'll probably end up getting the second or third version of the 3DS. Gotta go where the Pokemon are, after all, and the Star Fox 64 remake is pretty hard to pass up as well.

Handheld generations are different. If anything they'd be 7th gen handhelds.

PSP2 is definitely more interesting to me. I didn't get the DS because the face buttons were too small and uncomfortable to use, and the 3DS is going to have the same problem. I have no idea why Nintendo went this route though, as even the GB Micro has larger b/a buttons.

NGP - dual joysticks, impressive visuals, the price won't be "599 U.S.Dollars"[footnote]That's Sony talking, by the way.[/footnote] and it is made by a gaming company I actually like.

Definitely the NGP. I don't like 3D, especially for gaming, and I've never really liked the DS either, not many games that I like on it. Of course, I won't get it for a few years, maybe when NGP version 2 or 3 comes out.
