"9" - A film apparently produced by Tim Burton

So here is a link [http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JIpZxBczWUg] to a film trailer for an upcoming movie called '9'. It's directed by Shane Acker and produced by Tim Burton (and some other guy I've never heard of before.)

Worth mentioning? Maybe not... until I actually watched the trailer and was overcome with the feeling that maybe I'd seen this somewhere before [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/5443-Review-LittleBigPlanet].

Am I the only guy who picks this up?

Well yes, I heard about it through Coheed & Cambria networks.. but the release date is there in the trailer. 9/9/09.

I might actually go to see this movie. Hopefully it won't be a musical like everything else Tim Burton has done recently. Although if it's got Coheed & Cambria in the trailer, the soundtrack will hopefully be pretty awesome.

I luvs me a post-apocalypse, and I luvs me some Tim Burton (other guy, not so much; Wanted sucked gratuitous amounts of male genitalia).

Actually, to me this looks more like something Tim freaking Shafter would come out with. Its the same weird visual style as Psyconauts

Also, Tim Burton has very little to do with this project other than lending a "house hold name" to the project. Give Acker some props - this is his baby - and based on the Oscar nominated short film that fedpayne posted a link to (and here as well http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.81432)
