Hey. My TV is going to *kill* me. Its making a high pitched buzzing noise, i've punched the heck out of it, which works sometimes, but usually just hurts my hand a whole lot. Its a, oh, 40ish inch Daewoo, not brand new, and not anything skinny. (stupid name. stupid problem. no wonder.)

Anyone got any idea about whats going on before I either throw it out the window, or it drives me to throw myself out the window?

Did you try unplugging it? Maybe if you stopped putting a current through it it would stop making the noise.

QUICK! Give it to me! That will solve everything!

Or just, you know... unplugg it.

Sure, if I turn it off or unplugged it, the buzzing goes away. But I can't really do alot with it when its turned off, maybe draw pictures on it with those car-glass markers.

Heh thats weird my monitor makes a low whistling sound when it's turned off.
Told some friends and they thought I was crazy until one of them came round and heard it.
I suggest turning the power off like the others said.
