So I saw out of the corner of my eye The '___ is my mortal enemy' Thread and thought it was this one. Alas, it was not, so I thought I'd make one. Not that I have so much to contribute, I just want to read them.

This is not asking what your middle name actually is (looking at you, Florence), it's more along the lines of 'danger' and 'tact', and if you've had any incidences where you got to say "___ is my middle name!"

I used to have a store supervisor who tried to be cool by asking us if we were "stoked" about an upcoming sale, new product line, holiday, etc. One time, he'd asked us if we were "stoked" more than once duing the day and I couldn't keep myself from saying to him "Sir, 'stoked' is my middle name". Fortunately, he was in a good mood that day and he just laughed.

Anyhow, I actually used that once at a party when I was talking to a bunch of women (as I do), and the conversation somehow came around to double standards in the bedroom. Luckily it got a cheap laugh rather than the mace to the face that I usually get.

I once said in journalism ethics and law class when given an assignment to research Hunter. S. Thompson, on that occasion though it didn't get a laugh but did get a good ol' groan.
