A Beautiful Little World

This seem appropriate for a community of people called 'escapists' so here goes.

Every person on this big 'ol rock has a different idea about wether or not this world is good or bad. However, i think that just about every person has at one point or another created a little Eden of thier own creation. It can be a room, a city, a country or a whole world. Sometimes people have even created people to go along with this little Eden. Sometimes, your Eden isn't even something you created yourself, but that you have already seen in real life, a game or a movie.

So, my question to you escapists, what is your happy little Eden. What does it look like, who lives there, what is it that you like about it, what goes on there. Share these happy little places, these places that you would like to visit, or create, wether they are real or not.

Somewhere were people get along. The setting could be a beach, a forest, a rock ridden with natural disasters, etc. But those things are always bearable with friends, people you get along with. My Eden is concerened with people.

Mine differs from time to time. Sometimes I wish I lived in Middle-Earth or Azeroth but there are in fact so many worlds I like I'd have a hard time picking.

Sorry, forgot about mine.
My personal Eden is actually a desert. A large panoramic desert, with teh odd oasis here and there, but mostly just huge messas of sandstone and sand, with a people there called the "Sanarin" a primitive Fremen-like race of people who are adapted perfectly for the climate (whenever i 'visit' there i am usually a Sanarin myself) and who respect and honour one another implicitaly.
A world a heat and wind, of cool nights filled with the echoing songs and tales of the Sanarin, and hot days filled with the cry of the wind and the stillness of the sand. Where the creatures and the plants are in perfect harmony with teh land in which they live. A place where teh presence of your brothers and sisters is not only pleasant, it is nessacary for survival. Where the most precious thing, is also the most simple, a drink of water, shared among the people, a massive family. Migrating, wandering, exploring, a lifestyle where things are simple and where enjoyment comes from your people and your family, the protection of your people and the love of your partner. it is not perfect, it is even harsh, but faced as a team, a family, the desert is a land of beauty. That is my Eden.

My lovely little vision:

I live in a fortified mansion surrounded by snipers and hidden remote-explosives. This mansion is in the middle of a secluded island of the coast of Dubai. The only reason i'm in this lavish building is because my business of Snooty Enterprises Inc has become the only profitable business left standing and many have tried to take me down trying to restore back to the earth.

A planet, all to myself. Nice ecosystem, fairly warm all round, but is slightly colder towards the poles. Wildlife is prevalent, but very little in the way of dangerous creatures. Lots of green.

My eden would be an island where I have a mansion and a corperation that is famous for making huge leaps in the areas of internal combustion and speed. And System of a Down would come back from hiatus.
