Well the format of Aliens and Predators was how they sort of followed the story of humans on a situation based with the villains (Excluding P2 to some extent) which worked
They tried this format with AVP and lets be honest, it failed. Look at AVP1 and how dreadful that was. If a movie is called Aliens V Predators, I would like to see more of them. Rather than having a story based around humans (I don't care about love interests - AVP2) Have the 2 villains as the main focus and have humans as a sub plot.
Like in the AVP game. Humans in an alien environment worked. Look at the new predators movie. If they could repeat that with AVP, it would be so much better than the trash they have currently released..
