Shame on you for asking. Homework is to be done by yourself, or at least with some help. Asking someone else to do it for you is cheating. And shows you're either incompetent or lazy. But don't ask us to tell you which one.

no, i knew the answer thats why i know shred is right(bro helped) was just seeing if you guys could get it.

EDIT: mainly becuase it didn't seem like a fair question to ask to an 8th grader so i was checking how hard it would be for you guys.

i don't think it is. for most people at my high school they lean it as juniors.

Yes, it's actually a fairly easy problem for those of us reasonably experienced with algebra and simultaneous linear equations. However, you may have felt it more difficult since you are likely just now learning these things.

yeah, our math teachers kind of an ass, he puts one of these problems on every problem set packet even though he knows there's no way we'll get it right.

I wouldn't say there's no way you'll get it right. But the going will be much tougher for you since you just haven't built up enough knowledge and experience with it, yet. But, I do have to agree with some of the other posts; this really isn't the best place to ask for help on homework.

ya why? i was one of the intelligent people deemed good enough at math to learn it as a freshmen though.
