For reasons I can't remember I was browsing my device manager and had a look at my processor. It listed this:

Does this mean my processor is a quad core? Sorry if this seems like a really stupid question, I'm just not sure...

Yes you have a Quad core running a 2.27ghz. Were you expecting more or less than this?

From what I can tell, its an i3 Arrandale processor. Dual core

Its virtualizes the other two cores.

make believe cores will never be as good as the real thing, but intels iX series processors get pretty damn close.

Really, all of the iX series are great. Can't really think of anything that you wouldn't be able to do.

The processors ability is really good, it would just be good if the graphics card was able to cope with more games :/
