Well, i was scrolling through the forum index, and there were a couple of posts about time travel, and i thought of this
Back when people rode in concord planes, socialites would ride through time zones during new years eve, and they would celebrate new years in every time zone, because they would be going back in time an hour
So, answer me this, if they were to keep going around the world, after they hit every time zone, wouldn't they keep going back in time?
Would this make time travel possible?

Eh don't know plus it's too dangerous. Although I guess your sort of going back/forward in time if you go into a different time zone

Umm.. no, because you cannot be more than 23:59:59 behind or in front of any time on earth, and you are still traveling around the sun.

No. Setting your watch back a few hours doesn't consitute time travel.

By that same logic, if I now set my watch to 9.20 PM on the 4th of September, I am 2 days in the future.

EDIT: I have tried this. As far as I can see, the future sucks. I set my watch back to the 2nd of September and all seems to be normal.

Answer me this. If i punch you in the face. Travel around the world in a jet in less than 24 hours. Land. And walk up to you, will you not have a bruised eye? If you answer yes, then i'm going to punch you again. If you answer no, i will apologize for the first punch.

no.once they crossed the last one,it would just lead back to where they were in the first place.

there is a huge science behind this theory of yours and why it wouldn't work.it would be like saying that if you turn your clock back two hours you would go back two hours into the past

truth be told, the timezones are just there to make things simple,in reality it is actually the same time everywhere, they just decided to say that what position the sun is equals what time it is in your area, then they evolved off that.but really there is one big unknown universal time,we just don't know it.

No! Just no. I can't even begin to comprehend why someone would even ask this question, a plane isn't like Superman you know!
