Straud
The next course of action was already decided for them as the mad eldar took charge of matters with all the authority of a hyperactive child, even going so far as to invade Eva's personal space and to call her a... well Eva wasn't sure what it meant but she assumed it was some vile xenos slure. She would not balk before the invader though, kasrkins had stood before far worse and won and Eva would be damned if she'd shame the old colours now. When the eldar leaned in to chide her Eva did the same causing their foreheads to press up against each other. Still, with that unnerving mask an all,she couldn't shake the feeling that they came off the better.
Their trip was brief but no less tense for it as Eva did her best to apply pressure to her patient's gushing wound. The ramp fell and once again Eva was spurred to action, helping to haul the poor brute onto anything that could help wheel his perforated arsenal to the medbay. Even with her strength just carrying him there could have gone nasty.
The ship even came with an impressive supply of servitors, though their materials left a lot to be desired. [i ]'Seen een better stocks at a field hospital'. [/i]
"Jeez Doc, with those things you'll kill him before he has a chance to die." Cadian humour at its finest.
Still, she pitied the poor wreck before her. She'd stay with him for now. They'd marked him as one of Eva's own kind and a brother in arms deserved someone by his side in his hour of need.
Kalgard
The ship was all going crazy thanks to the fresh meat.
The crew's words, not Kalgard's. Though it did sum up the human condition and this wretched venture quite nicely.
He had stalked the halls of the ship silently, becoming familiar with its layout, the roles of the crowd machines and the even cruder crew. Many of them had to be observed from afar. A little extreme perhaps, treating his temporary home as an infiltration mission but for Kalgard old habits died hard, besides, now he knew all the best secret spots should he need them.
He received word from two deckhands (by spying on them) that strange alien recruits had arrived and were causing trouble in the hangar. Well that sounded like it could relieve the boredom. If nothing else he could escape the smell the grey titan and the hound had dragged in.
So Kalgard went down to the shuttle bay to see what all the fuss was about.
