"Okay. In the past two days we have located a ship. It is believed that it is uninhabited and likely contains archeotech. Scouts are reporting that it is non-imperial in their explorations and that the reactors and life support are offline. Temperatures are reported as freezing and due to the life support being offline oxygen will be limited until it is located and reactivated. Several decks are flooded with what is believed to be coolant fluid and due to the already low temperatures is likely to kill anyone who falls in it unprotected." Spoke a red coated Humie adorned with various markings that told Grimmfang that he was of a high rank.

"Cold weather gear, re-breathers, and cold compliant arms will be supplied by the quarter masters in the armouries if required. Are there any questions?" The Humie then asked. A question soon came from the Humie who had been smoking in the corner for however long Grimm had been there. Grimm waited a moment, then put his arm up to ask a question.

"Where can we find these Quartermastas then? I reckon that, whilst me gear will be up to snuff in toughin' it out in dat dere Krooza you been talking about, can't say the same for meself. Then again, 'spose you Humies wouldn't mind if one of us Xenos were to turn into a popsicle on this here little trip." He asked, knowing full well that the Humies didn't trust Non-Humies.

"Has there been any signs of Xenos or Warp presence aboard the vessel?"

"The Scouts haven't reported any contact, but a few of the psykers have been saying that they feel something out there."

"If it is not of your imperial creation then where does it hail from?"

"We don't know. But with what's been reported a few of our priests think that it's seen the old night."

"This-ss one's-ss hound s-sshould be able to ss-survive the little amount of oxygen that is there?"

"So far our scouts aren't reporting an oxygen problem, but the ship's life support isn't working from what they can tell. It's a large ship so there should be plenty, but there won't be any new air until it's working again."

"Their offices are attached to the crew armories, maps to which are in each barracks and are marked on deck maps as well." After a few seconds of thought the speaker continued "Can't orks survive in the void? I'm sure I've seen your kind fight without kit out there."

After questions were answered and crew were supplied, the plans of the officers began to be enacted as the crew was organized. Boarding torpedoes were loaded with men. Contractors separated by their docks into boarding torpedoes. All in all fifteen tubes were to be fired into the ship, one for each port. After the torpedoes were fired groups of gun cutters were to follow in their wake containing scavenger teams, tech priests, and those who decided they were curious including the Rogue Trader Joseph Kurtz. The teams arriving through torpedo were to secure the area they hit and then make contact with other teams to receive further orders. The scavengers were to locate and bring back any items of worth onboard. The tech priests were to attempt to get the ship working again, a ship of this size and likely age would be worth a fortune if it could be brought back.

"Group One"

After what feels like hours the torpedo smashes into the hull of the massive ship. The torpedo burns its way in and forces the metal of the hull to fuse to the tube. As the torpedo recognizes it's job being complete the door to the ship opens. Through the door is a pitch black expanse flowing a horrible cold back into the tube. After a few seconds of listening for anything a rating throws a flare through the doorway and the area is lit up. Gunmetal grey walls and floors covered in frost are the first things to be picked out. On the far side of the room is a frozen corpse. Human and freezerburned, wearing a blackened grey uniform, and in his hands holding some kind of two barreled autgun with an odd fuel cell in the stock. The back of his skull has been blown out. On the wall to the left is what appears to have at one point have been writing but has been rendered indecipherable by the breaching of the room. On the right side of the room is a metal door with scrap metal welded to it as a sort of barricade. Outside the door is a long pitch black hallway. Doors line the hallway leading to crew quarters. A few rooms held huddled corpses surrounded by empty cans while some held nothing at all. In one direction of the hallway led to a cantina of sorts while the other led to a shaft with no visible bottom.

Psykers in both groups would feel a terrible sense of unease. Something feels horribly wrong about the ship, though exactly what the problem is is unclear.

Interested officers are currently on their way in gun cutters.

Gordon Kasteen, 'Undesirable' Torpedo

Kasteen was equal parts giddy and terrified as he sailed towards the derelict ship in the boarding torpedo. He was still thrilled at the prospect of diving head first into the frozen bowels of the ship, relishing the thought of a chilled environment. On the other had, he was hurtling through void at over 10 kilometers per second. He also was in a predicament he hadn't faced for over a decade - he had zero experience in ship combat, and about the same experience when it came to salvaging. He'd trained on ships before, but it had mostly been in huge hangers mocked up like battlefields. Kasteen decided he'd fall back on his hive combat training, and hope for the best.

As they traveled, he found that couldn't get rid of the stupid grin that had taken up shop on his face. 'I must look stupid,' he thought. His attempts to distract himself were largely ineffective - he field stripped his lasgun three times, and his pistol twice. He even tried to say the Litany of Maintenance once, but found himself humming it in tune to the Valhallan Imperial March. He quickly stopped himself. 'They're going to think you're mad.' He looked around the torpedo interior.

Jammed into the tube were a handful of Naval ratings, the almost servitor, and the xenos. A strange bunch. Kasteen found himself wishing the Commissar was there, despite his distaste for her profession and demeanor. At least she was human. He'd also be told there were other ex-guardsmen in there party, but he didn't see any. 'Must be in another tube,' he considered. He hoped they met up with them quickly; he didn't trust any of these xenos.

Even that thought didn't trouble Kasteen too much. He'd never trust or like them, but perhaps he could deal with them in a more constructive manner until the time came to do the Emperor's work.

Without warning, the torpedo jolted as it slowed itself down, then shuttered as it slammed into the ship. After several minutes of a horrendous noise Kasteen assumed were breaching meltas, the frontal door opens. His lasgun in hand and aimed out the door, Kasteen waits for the word to advance.

Bolt pistol up, and Frost Axe crackling, Maarku advanced off the Boarding Torpedo, sniffing the air as he went. Satisfied there were no immediate threats, he looked back to see Skoll with Eva; the wolf was enough out of the way as to not block the Kasrkin's line of fire, but close enough to intercept anything that might try to rush the well armoured Cadian.

Turing his attention to the senior man from the ship's crew, he spoke. "I want a defensive perimeter set up between here and the large room there." He said, gesturing towards the canteen area. "And seal those shafts." Tripping the vox channel back to the ship, he spoke into thin air. "Brother Frostclaw to Valiant Light, boarding successful, not hostile contacts so far. A few bodies, they seem to be human."

Jack ? Undesirable Torpedo

It took a few moments but Jack was able to strip off a few layers of clothing until he was down to a basic white shirt and black pants. He quickly went over to his bag and stuffed his spare clothes in there while pulling out his suit. The suit itself was completely black containing multiple pouches for ammo and a few holsters. It took him around a minute to put everything on but soon enough he had everything on and reached back into the bag to pull his weapons out. After he had put his weapons onto their holsters he pulled out his helmet. The helmet matched the suit in its color and had a horizontal visor. Completely covering his head and keeping his face hidden. After he had everything equipped, he threw his bag that now only held his spare clothes onto a box.

Jack had had been in a torpedo once. The last time he?d been in one he had nearly died. Least to say he was rather nervous to get aboard this one. He gripped whatever part of the torpedo he could as hard as he humanly could. It wasn?t even going to help if anything went wrong but it helped to calm his nerves.

He was rather relieved when the thing had finally stopped but any joy he felt from the torpedo stopping was washed away by the cold. He pulled out his Voss and aimed around the room. He watched as the darkness tried to consume whatever light the flares produced. He waited for the order to move in standing close to the scarred guardsmen.

Brother Hulic, Group One

As Brother Maarku strode forth, so too would a red-eyed shadow follow in his wake, the rustling of a crimson tabard accompanying the solid footfalls of boots whose heavy soles had been temporarily magnetized in the event the torpedo's sudden fusion with the ship's exterior led to explosive depressurization. A lone hand would glide back as the Space Wolf issued various commands and reported back to the Valiant Light, closing about the hilt of a blade equaling his own height in length and releasing the weapon from the mag-lock that had secured it to his armored powerpack, the sword almost immediately sheathed in deceptively peaceful golden energy as it was brought to bear.

Rather than issuing any orders himself - or speaking at all - Hulic instead chose to defer to the veteran Astartes' leadership for the time being, his experience with directing a squad largely reliant upon shared chapter doctrine and generally lost upon a mixed unit. The weight of learning to accept his own limitations remained as real in his mind as that of the gleaming power sword in his hands, and such was the severity of his experience that any potential chapter rivalry had at least temporarily been set aside. Instead, his attention settled on the barricaded door nearby, a glance to the nearest body suggesting to the space marine that the chamber's deceased occupant had preferred death at their own hand rather than facing whatever had been kept out.

Taking up a defensive stance where the length of the ancient blade provided him with a spear-like advantage in close quarters, Hulic's left hand joined the first to enable the weapon's strikes to be delivered with force akin to a powerfist -- the loss of more agile movements largely inconsequential when confined to such a claustrophobic environment. The first strike must be true or it will be your last, he recalled Anselm saying in what Hulic remembered as better times, the resulting pang of grief causing the space marine to subtly shake his head. Instead he focused on the task at hand with zealous anticipation largely obscured by the bulk of his monochrome power armor, reciting in his mind part of a familiar litany: Where there is doubt, I shall sow faith!

Tasha climbed out of the torpedo, examining her surroundings. She inhaled deeply through the Helmet she had grabbed from the armory before launch. The Darkness of the hulk was almost stifling, the flare doing much to keep it from feeling as though it was smothering her. And though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil, for he is my guiding light, my torch in the Darkness. She recanted in her mind. Whatever nerves had been frayed in her calmed.

Between Sir Maarku and the Other Marine whom she had yet to become acquainted with, she felt as though anything short of a carnifex or champion of chaos would make it past the doors. Flamer at the ready she took a closer look at the freezer burned corpse. The hole in the back of it's head spoke of a quick death. She narrowed her eyes at whatever had been on the wall. Some sort of message or script. She could not make out whatever it had said though. Frowning at that she turned her attention to the gun in the corpses hands. She crouched down to get a closer look at the odd fuel cell.

Kurt climbed out of the torpedo after the rest of his squad. Staying in the back of the torpedo as he wanted to remain focused on the mission and he didn't feel like ideal chitchat with the rest of the crew. Though he could feel some of their eyes on him while still traveling to the unknown ship.

As he looked around the room for anything threatening, he could see dead bodies that seem human. Praying that these lost souls at least put up a glorious death before dying the name of the Emperor. Though he dismiss the idea as he couldn't see any bodies of what they could have been fighting. Unless of course, they were fighting other humans. Pushing the idea out of his head, the details weren't important to him. Only the mission.

"I want a defensive perimeter set up between here and the large room there. And seal those shafts."

"Roger Sir" Kurt reply as he join with some of the fellow Guardsmen to set up a defensive perimeter within the building, while others started to seal the shafts.

Ysenelle - hurtling through space in a metal tube
The Eldar harelquin sat calmly, strapped into the torpedo as she attempted to feel her way with her mind as they were in transit. Very cautiously probing and feeling with her minds eye in an attempt to grasp what was giving her a faint feeling of dread. Oblivious to the rest of those in the boarding craft with her, Ysenelle was only dragged out of her focus when she shook as the tube made contact with a surface and preceded to penetrate it with the grace of an armor piercing mon-keigh round.

The exit to the torpedo opened with what felt like great effort as Ysenelle slowly undid her harness and stood behind a filthy little midget mon-keigh as it prepared to throw a rather barbaric illumination device into the murky void before them. A feeling of great dread overtook Ysenelle, it dismayed her and made her uneasy but she could feel that it was coming through the warp and not just her intuition.
Ysenelle shook her head faintly and followed the flare as it arched and sailed to the floor, taking a little longer due to boarding maneuvers sticking them 15 feet above the floor, a decent effort considering the unknown layout of the ship. She took in her immediate surroundings from up in their little recently added tube to the ship's infrastructure, wary to get out of the tube in case it failed to fuse into the ship properly.

The room is large, and tall. The entrance to the tube is fifteen feet above the chamber's ground. The floor below is coated in frost and not much is visible beyond that. The chamber is visibly empty and on the far side of the room is a metal door. Through the door is a medical ward with a series of freezerburned corpses, frozen cogitators, and drawers filled with unidentifiable chemicals. On one side of the ward was a door leading to a hallway. The hallway was lined with doors leading to similar medical labs and at the end of the hallways there was a shaft with no visible bottom.

Ysenelle decided against taking point and waited for orders.

Cha'Chak, Undesirables Docking Bay

"So far our scouts aren't reporting an oxygen problem, but the ship's life support isn't working from what they can tell. It's a large ship so there should be plenty, but there won't be any new air until it's working again."

Cha'Chak relaxed a bit, looking down to her companion Khauch. cha'Chak felt relieved that she wouldnt have to leave her life long friend behind.
Turning to the docking doors where the torpedo was situated, making her way over to the small device, crouching down almost being doubled over she climbed in and waited.

"Hurtling" Through Space in a Torpedo

Bunching herself at the end of the torpedo with Khauch, Cha'chak didnt take notice of the other crew members in the pod that were all strapped in whilst she just held on to both walls because she was too big for the torpedo itself.
Feeling the torpedo starting to drill into the hulk ship.
Suddenly the torpedo stopped drilling the exit hatch popped open.
Revealing a black expanse, other crew members were throwing flares out, showing the room slightly. But also showing the the torpedo came into the room at 15 feet from the ground.

Poking her large head out of the exit hatch after a few of the other crew looked out the hatch, she could see that the room itself was large and quite tall. Looking down she saw that the ground was frosted. No-one had been given orders, deciding to explore a bit, grabbing Khauch under one arm. Holding onto the bottom of the exit hatch Cha'Chak lowered her long body out torpedo and touching the frosted ground.
Not taking much notice to it, there wasnt much on the ground. Feeling at unease Khauch wriggled out of her grip jumping down onto the ground and started sniffing about.

As Maarku gave the order to begin securing the area, ratings rushed to the shaft and began attempting to seal it. Eventually a rating came with a sheet of metal and it was welded over the entrance to the shaft by the others. A few minutes after his message was sent, a response came though not from the ship. A ragged voice came over the vox to everyone on board "This is... I don't even remember anymore. My men have all frozen to death and I haven't heard anything since I came to this wretched place. Are you the second wave?"

[hr]

The fuel cell appears to be a charged hydrogen contained by a cryogenic system. The cryogenics appear to have failed and it is likely that the only thing keeping the cell from exploding is the extreme cold. The cell is wired into a firing mechanism that if Natasha were to guess appears to be quite similar to that of a las-lock weapon. Upon further study the secondary barrel, the mechanism, and the fuel cell comprise a functional las-lock.

[hr]

As Khauch begins to sniff around he begins to feel at unease in the cold. The Horrible seeping cold. As Khauch walks around he stumbles into a chair that seemed to have materialized out of nothingness as he knocks it over. As this happens more chairs begin to materialize in the chamber in a large circle.

Grimmfang - Undesirables Docking Bay

"Their offices are attached to the crew armouries, maps to which are in each barracks and are marked on deck maps as well." After a few seconds of thought the speaker continued. "Can't Orks survive in the void? I'm sure I've seen your kind fight without kit out there."

"Dat dere is debatable Humie. Some say we can, some say we can't. Personally, I'd rather avoid the chance of going POP! if I could." Grimmfang retorted back. After a few more questions were answered, the Undesirables group was dismissed to acquire any gear that they needed then they were to report to the boarding tubes. In the case of Grimm, he had to use a modified set of gear so it would fit to his Orkish proportions.

[hr]

Grimmfang - Hurtling Through Space In A Boarding Torpedo

Grimm was seated somewhere near the middle of the torpedo as it flew it's way through the void. Eventually though, it came to a sudden and horrible halt with a dull thud on the end; then the sound of something burning it's way through the metal of the ship. After half a minute, the door fell open, and the group was met with a inky blackness, some of it being chased away by a light that a midget Humie threw down the corridor, revealing a large and tall room.

As he put on his Scanna Gahgals and took out his Shoota, Grimm took a few tender steps out of the torpedo, hearing the crunching sound of the frost beneath his feet. The Gahgals so far they did nothing, not revealing much of note so far, no strange emissions, no signs of life, yet.

"Scanna's not picking up anything yet; though there's deffinitely something here, got me Orky senses a tingle." Grimm said to the others, whether or not they'd actually listen though was a different matter.

It was then that the Kroot and its four-legged beastie stepped out of the tube, with the beast having a sniff around. Suddenly out of nowhere, it appeared to have knocked over a chair that didn't seem to be there a moment ago, or at least the Gahgals didn't pick it up. Then moments later, more chair just appeared in a big circle.

"Wot dah hell?!" Grimm shouted as he aimed his Shoota at one of the chairs.

Cha'Chak, Freezing fucking cold room

Khauch was set back quite a bit after knocking into this unknown chair. Cha'chak was surprised her hound didn't see it. Although she didn't see it either until he bumped into it. The moment it fell over more chairs started to appear out of no where.
Khauch was standing in the middle of the almost complete circle, looking around in bewilderment.

Cha'Chak was in an obvious state of frenzy, afraid that her companion would get hurt. With a few long strides she leapt over and picked Khauch up lifting him 8 feet above the ground. Quickly turning and heading back towards the shuttle Cha'Chak's feet were starting to freeze up.

Standing beneath the shuttle that overhung the area, she reached up and shoved Khauch in barely. Without Khauch pulling himself up, Cha'Chak wouldn't of been able to get him up there in safety.
Knowing that she wouldn't be able to jump up, she unhitched her staff rifle from her back and threw the flare in hand at the appearing chairs.

It all stopped. The chairs stopped appearing. Aiming her rifle at the nearest one she prodded it with the knife ended barrel.

POOF

It just disappeared. The frost on the ground seemed less intense to Cha'Chak, feeling her clawed toes again.

Looking upto the shuttle where Khauch now lazed his head out of the exit door looking down at Cha'Chak. She was thankful nothing happened to him.

"What the hell was-ss that?!" She hissed loudly up towards the torpedo.

Reaching around to her backpack she got the blow torch.
OOC
Im kinda guessing they would have blow torches because they are salvaging.

Lighting the blowtorch she lifted it for more light than the dying flares gave off. Yeah. The chairs had all disappeared, the ground looking less frosted than before.

Oh khauch, i'm so relieved that you are okay! She thought towards her lil hound,
As if to hear her, Khauch barked, not a bark like a normal dog, but much like a raptor.

Jack ? Huge Ship - The Cold Room

Seeing that the other members of the torpedo exited, Jack decided he?d explore the room a bit himself. He grabbed the floor of the torpedo and lowered himself down so he was hanging around nine feet off the ground. He then let go and landed with a soft thud before turning around and scanning the room. He walked forward a bit and began fumbling with the side of his helmet. A few moments later Jack?s vision was filled with a light green color. He scanned the room with more scrutiny then before as he tried to detect anything inside the room. The chilly temperatures of the room made Jack want to shiver but he resisted the urge and kept looking around.

Jack was standing by a door leading into a hallway when he heard a bang come from behind him. When he turned around, Jack spotted that the hound had knocked over a chair, though if he remembered right that chair wasn?t there to begin with. That?s when he noticed that other chairs began to appear out of thin air. ?That? Shouldn?t? What the hell?? Was Jack?s line of thought as he raised his rifle at the magically appearing chairs. Seeing that Cha?Chak had basically thrown her hound back into the torpedo to keep the animal safe, Jack was about to go help when he realized that the Kroot?s feet were freezing. He backed up a bit hoping that he was getting farther back from whatever was freezing the Kroot. Jack wanted to help but didn?t want to get frozen in the process. He looked around for a way to help but before he could find anything the Kroot threw a flare and it seemed to save her. The freezing stopped and when she poked one of the chairs with her rifle it disappeared.

Jack was somewhat terrified. He should be happy that he was lucky enough to not get frozen solid but in all honesty he was scared. The fact that they could just freeze solid at any moment worried Jack to no end. Though the flare helped ease his mind at least, knowing he could fight back the frost gave him a confidence boost. He inched himself more towards the Kroot which now had light and heat though he didn?t need the light really. ?How do we secure that?? Jack questioned as he hovered closer to the Kroot. When Jack spoke it came out a microphone in his helmet, giving it a somewhat distorted sound.

Cha'Chak, Hulk Ship, Frozen Room

"How do we secure that?" Jack asked as he inched towards Cha'Chak,

Turning off the blow torch for a few seconds, Cha'Chak walked back to underneath the Torpedo. Patting her chest with the palms of her hands. Khauch jumped down from the exit hatch into Cha'Chak's arms, with that she let him down to the ground once again. He wasn't as uncomfortable as he was before. Turning the blow torch back on as she walked back to the small cyborg. A few long strides.

"This-ss one is-ss quite uns-ssure how to 's-ssecure' that." Cha'Chak stated, "But this-ss one does-ss know that it is-ssn't friendly."

Feeling the blood flow back into her clawed feet, Cha'Chak started walking around the room. Heading towards the door that Jack was at moments ago. Having the bulk doors slightly open, the seemed the weren't to open any further. Reaching into her backpack she found a flare. Turning off the Blow torch once again to save on the fuel. She lit the flare, clicking to Khauch to come to her she tied it into the leather strips that dangled from his neck. Being careful to make sure it wouldnt hurt him in anyway.

Turning back to the broken door, she place her large clawed hands into the doors slight opening. Separating them with all her might, she budged it ever so slightly. Then she moved it a little more. Opening it enough for her to slide through. THough she waited for the rest of the crew to join them on the ground.

Taking the flare from Khauch she threw it down the darkened hallway. When it landed Cha'Chak swore she saw the shadows move. Shaking the feeling of dread she turned back to the Torpedo on the otherside of the room with Khauch following close her heels.

"This-ss one can help you get down without hurting yours-sselves-ss too much," Cha'Chak said, "If you will let me."

Gordon Kasteen, Derelict Ship, 'Undesirable' Group

The xenos was the first out of the torpedo, followed quickly by the cyborg. The deployment apparently started, Kasteen followed suit, and jumped out into the ship. He put the majority of his weight on his uninjured leg, but the jump still sent a painful jolt through his hip. 'Emperor damn it!' The air was cooled, as he had hoped, but was still not bad enough to trouble him. He left his coat hanging open, and did not need to put on his hat or scarf.

Upon entering the ship, his instincts kicked in and he cleared the room they entered. The flare that had been thrown in did a surprisingly good job lighting the room, which was bare. All the same, Kasteen swept the room with his lasgun, visually inspecting the walls, floor and ceiling for anything of interest. There was nothing. The floor was covered in frost, but Kasteen was as sure footed on it as any Valhallan would be.

Satisfied that the room was clear, and seeing that the strange, massive xenos was moving on to the next room, Kasteen dropped his lasgun to the low ready and lit a lho-stick. He breathed in deeply - he hadn't smoked during the whole trip in the torpedo. The air purifiers hadn't sounded right to him, so he'd refrained from polluting the air. As he exhaled, he heard a commotion from the next room.

He turned in that direction just in time to see the big xenos chugging along in his direction, holding its pet high. He side stepped out of the thing's path. Wondering what had spooked the xenos, he looked back from where it came. 'Just a room with some chairs. What is wrong with this thing?' He looked back at the xenos, and noticed that its feet was covered in ice. He didn't remember seeing and pools of liquid around, though. For a reason beyond his understanding, his gut tightened.

The xenos had deposited it's pet, and turned towards the chairs. It threw a flare at one. 'What is this beast doing?' It then took its rifle and stabbed at one of the chairs.

Which promptly disappeared.

A jolt of shock shot from Kasteen's toes to the base of his skull, and he reflexively raised his rifle and searched for targets. 'Shit!' Phantom objects, unnatural frost... he'd seen this before, and he'd prayed for years that he'd never see it again. Memories of terrors long laid to rest came to the front of his mind, and they made him shiver . The xenos, seemingly less troubled then he was, forged forward and opened a door deeper into the ships bowels.

Kasteen considered his options, and found he only had one. No reinforcements were incoming, and there way to the ship had been a one use deal. That meant they couldn't wait for assistance, or retreat. Which meant there was only one thing to do. He pulled another cloud of smoke from his lho-stick, and switched his lasgun out for his laspistol and a lamp pack. Moving up beside the xenos, he checked the revealed hallway, seeing only more metal and what he could swear was shadows casting themselves.

Before Kasteen can set off further into the derelict, he wonders what his companions know of the threat they face. Before that failed mission to the tainted planet that ended his Guard career, he'd known nothing of such threats. Turning to the assembled members of their salvage team, he asks them.

"Do you know whats going on here? Do you know of Chaos?"

Ysenelle, Derelict Ship, 'Undesirable' Group
The lithe Eldar slid gracefully out of the hole made by their would be craft and landed silently on the floor next to the Kroot, ignoring it.

"Do you know whats going on here? Do you know of Chaos?"

The alien woman merely sighed as she stepped carefully after the two. Her mind was too focused on the feel of dread and the phenomenon before her. As a master of hallucinations and psychic effects she attempted to get a better grasp on the situation, guarding her mind and reaching around cautiously.
She made sure to stand close to the others for safety, her focus on the psychic spectrum causing her to lose focus on her surroundings.
Hopefully she would be able to preemptively discover anything dangerous or maybe gleam some knowledge or history of the ship.

As Kasteen yelled Chaos a low rumble could be heard echoing throughout the ship. Seemingly from nowhere and everywhere. Though with a ship of this age being hit like it was this sort of noise was to be expected. Though what was unexpected was the sound of a man screaming coming from the med ward.

If the med ward were to be investigated however, no one would be found.

As the shadows in the room were observed it could be noticed that a few of them were dancing around the area where the chairs were.

"Do you know whats going on here? Do you know of Chaos?" Asked the bald headed Humie as he stepped out of the torpedo.

"You mean dem spikey boys, who go around shouting about a blood god and a skull throne and all dat dere sorcery? Yeah, I've heard of them Humie; hell, even fought them once or twice. Then again, that was a small Chaos Cult, none of them proper spikey Space Marines and the like." Grimm replied as he kept his finger on the trigger of his Shoota when the Kroot poked one of the chairs with her rifle, it disappearing in an instant, followed by the others.

It was then that a low rumbling could be heard echoing all around them, though it was hard to tell if it came from the ship, or whatever else lurked here. Grimm noticed that some of the shadows that blanketed the room, a few began to dance around where the chairs once were; then came a beep from his Scanna Gahgals.

"Looks like me Gahgals are picking something up from dem shadows, some kind of energy signature, and it's rising." He reported whilst looking at the heads up display through his Gahgals.
