Well, it says "music, movies and drink recipes - non-game talk" in the description of the forum, so I'm going to post three original drink recipes my bandmates and I have come up with.
"Special Joe" - Served in any type of glass, though originally conceived in a Collins Glass [http://www.webtender.com/db/glass/1]
Put a thin slice of lime on the bottom of the glass, fill the glass nearly to the top with icecubes.
Pour 3-4 oz. of spiced rum (Captain Morgan, Admiral Nelson, to name examples) into the glass, fill up with Sprite, stir gently, sprinkle with sugar. This drink is not for your average Joe.
conceived by two bassists looking for something fancy to ask for at the bar, this drink is very smooth, and has a refreshing taste, easy to drink, but can potentially sneak up on you later in the night
"Ninety-two"
2 parts bourbon
2 parts gin
2 parts vodka
1 part orange juice
5 parts apple cider
Don't knock it till you've tried it - but like the roadie who originally thought of combining bourbon, gin and vodka in one drink said : "you just might end up with a girl born in '92 if you drink too much of this".
a roadie and rythm guitarist woke up after the liquor store closed, and started looking at last nights leftovers, jack daniels, beefeater and stolichnaya were handy, and there was cider in the fridge... i know this drink doesn't sound at all like something anyone would drink, but i found it growing on me when i was about halfway into the beermug it came in. i'm responsible for the orange juice myself, and it really made the difference (especially since the drink now contained equal parts alcohol and non-alcohol). but beware, when this hits, it packs a mean punch!
"Pussy"
mix equal parts white rum and 7-up, add grenadine until you get the perfect pink color, drink yourself silly
a singer with a fetish for generously giving cunnilingus to anything with tits decided he needed a drink that was the perfect color of pink, his drummer suggested white rum and grenadine and after three days testing (and heavy drinking) the singer approached the drummer with a smile on his face and white traces under his nose saying "want some pussy? just mix equal parts white rum and 7-up, add grenadine until you get the perfect pink color and drink yourself silly". this drink has an extremely sugar-sweet taste, and is easy to drink for those who don't mind the extreme sweetness, girls seem to love this one both for the name and the taste. silliness guaranteed after a few drinks
