A Fallout 3 Suggestion

I just thought of this, and thought it might be fun to try. What if, immediately after setting Megaton's nuke off, you tried to fast travel there? Would you get hit by the nuke? Also, is it possible to rig the explosion to happen as you are in the city?

Basically, would anybody be willing to try nukeiciding himself or herself in Fallout 3, and telling us about it =P?

It doesn't work. While the nuke is going off, you sort of lose control of your character aside from camera movements.

ie: You're allowed to look around, but can't move, or go into your inventory screen.

I think that fast travel makes time go faster. So you teleport to the future. Same as why fast traveling 3 times will move the time a lot.

It was this way in Oblivion and I do believe it's the same in Fallout 3.

Yeah like he says, essentially you're still travelling the same distance and time passes as if you walked it so Megaton will already be nuked.

Try going back to Megaton after its been nuked. You might be surprised to see someone in the wreckage

Haha, a friend of mine nuked Megaton then asked me how to get the house there. So I told him you speak to Simms and he automatically gives it to you after you SAVE Megaton. "Oh... right... I kinda blew it up...". Yeah it probably doesn't help...

You actually have a Megaton bomb mod for the fatman, I play it on 360 but a friend told me this, have fun with that!

There's a mod that makes the Megaton bomb destructable.
