Now, I just had to refresh the captchas about three times because it gave me incredibly obscure spelling. I do not know how to make an oomlaut, a Q with an accent or the pi sign so it says I cannot post. I find that a bit odd, albeit pretty gosh darn hilarious. This is not mentioning the ones that were just black lines with a few whites lines, but maybe that's just my opinion.

Curious as to what the worst Captcha you got ever was, and did you screenshot it?

I don't mind having a captcha but why do the users with lots of posts have to get them? It can't be so we take time to think our posts through, other wise they could just take away quick replying. Is it a way to get more people to go Publisher club?
Yes.

To elaborate, I agree completely with your reasoning. I think most people would agree that a user with 5 or 6 thousand posts isn't a spammer, and I've never seen a spambot on this site hit that many posts before being removed from the system. I've never had to deal with a captcha-type program on a regular basis at any other forums. If anything, captchas dissuade me from posting because they're a hassle and often the alphabet fragments are hard to read.

Why I should I through all that when so many active gaming forums make themselves available to me for free, without the hassle? Rather than sell me on the Pub Club, captchas make me question my patronage of the website.

If nothing else, please make captchas clearer or use actual words more often. I think it is reasonable not to waste the time of the folks who have made the community what it is (for better or worse).
